Winter is cold, (duh) so I see homeless people huddled around a firey trashcan trying to stay warm in the first stanza. The second stanza, still could be about the homeless, but rather I see people on the street huddled in their very large parkas hiding their faces in hats and mufflers in a hurry to get to their next destination they don't really see who's around them in the street, including the homeless. Or maybe something more personal as winter could be the season you have in the bedroom when you have a fight with a loved one. I'm lame I know it, I like to pretend I'm a poet. I rhymed! | |

| I understand that poem. It's about people losing thier love and connection for one another. It's "winter" in their heart. They're cold as ice, they don't tease or play, have fun, love each other, enjoy the warmth of the "sun", their faces are "bleak" (expressionless), they've lost their ability to feel for one another. It's the dark cold night of the soul. |

| Thank you to those who are interpreting her poem. It's very interesting to me to see what it says to different people.

| Here is a poem that I think Jennifer is familar with: By the shores of Gitche Gumee, By the shining Big-Sea-Water, Stood the wigwam of Nokomis, Daughter of the Moon, Nokomis. Dark behind it rose the forest, Rose the black and gloomy pine-trees, Rose the firs with cones upon them; Bright before it beat the water. Beat the clear and sunny water, Beat the shining Big-Set-Water. There the wrinkled old Nokomis Nursed the little Hiawatha. |

| I have to give it to my girl Jennifer(I'm not buying into the Nikomus thing,I don't care if I spelled it right,I so don't wanna know)she is playing the game a hell of a lot more than I thought she was. She's my new sleeper pick. She hasn't made any enemies, and she is watching everyone else. She isn't considered to be a threat, and she has Michael on her side, regardless of what he says. I get the feeling that if it came down to it,he would do what he could to keep Jennifer in the house...I just don't see him abandoning her. I think it's smart for both of them (Jennifer and Michael) to realize that being related might hurt them, and they are both covering their butts on that too.I'm not liking that new hair though.Eeww.

| I was re-watching the tape of last Thursday's for the recap on my website. When Jase is talking to Mike and that girl (I can't remember who it was) she was sitting right there next to Mike. Jase didn't to realize that she listened to both of his conversations. On the Insider she said that she's good at reading people. She's even thinking of going into Forensic Physcology. She knows everything that goes on in the house. She's going to win any competition that asks questions about other houseguests. ![]()
