I actually thought she was much better looking in the still for that independent short film she's in. No stupid flower, less makeup, no pink rompers, and the braided hair looked good on her. The version of Holly in the BB mugshot on CBS.com? Ewww.

Karen is surprisingly easy on the eyes--not at all overwhelmed by the younger Diane and Lori. Or maybe I'm just into her for what appears to be a devlish sense or humor.

I just watched the first ep. but she is SO dumb

i seriously wouldn't be surprised if she's acting. after all, in her "hey im holly. look at me before big brother" crap scene, she did say beign ditzy was her strategy. and i find it hard to believe that someone could seriously be THAT naive and dumb. for someone who lists art as one of her main interests,a nd the cure and the yeah yeah yeahs...those aren't exactly bands or interests usually associated with people who are dumb as posts. for a person who already did a reality spoof, what would be better, although slightly depraved, than getting to do the acting first hand and toying with absolutely everyone on a reality first hand? if she truly is acting, it would great...almost like mixing in elements of the mole. as for her strategy, if playing the ditzy, oblivious one is indeed a strategy....it could get her far if she's a good enough actress...she's be kept in alliances for simply beign perceived as that extra vote...

The official site for the short film, "Beat Boys, Beat Girls", in which Holly apparently plays a minor role. There's a trailer there too, although I didn't see her in it. But the publicity shot is clearly Holly, and maybe it's the makeup or lighting, but she looks a lot less like a ditz in it. Also, the fact that the trailer makes it clear that it's a pretentious art film ALSO makes me doubt that a ditz would be cast in even a minor role. This is a group of people who go around quoting Jack Keroac and filming sequences following a bag of cocaine around.

More interesting is her credit in Survivor Los Angeles: The Ultimate Parody. Now how interesting is it that she was in a not-too-much seen parody of another reality show? At mimimum it means she might have been cast somewhat for that, and at max it suggests she might have been cast EXACTLY for that.

IMBD has earlier credits for a "Holly King" going back 10 years or so, but a clear reading suggests they are mixing up two different actresses. A Holly King appeared in the a bit of English Sci-Fi called Breach of the Peace, but the character described sounds too old--even if Holly is lying about her age now, and also seems to be English.

More inside the trade stuff to go along with Krom's excellent sleuthing:

- Holly appeared as "Courtney" in Director's cut, a role she shared with Molly Michele, either her twin or a very close lookalike. Or are the two one in the same person?

- Holly has seven film & video credits to her name in IMDb and one TV credit, for "Men,Women and Dogs,"

- Molly Michele is pictured on the cover of the DVD and tape of "Director's Cut" and she looks exactly like publicity photos of Holly.

- Molly is also creditied with appearing on TV's "My so called life." But elsewhere in the trades that credit goes to Holly.

- There is also mention of a recurring role in the Steve Harvey Show.

- Her agent is no lightweight: Ari Bass at BMI, located off Mullholland Drive, just off Laurel Canyon Park. He is also the personal agent of Sherrie Rose, the hot nurse in L.A.D.J. Molly Michele is listed as represented by BMI, but without a named agent.

- Here is a revealing clue from the Ozus World Movie Review of Director's Cut: "The character that appealed to me the most was Molly Michelle. She had the best blonde ditsy lines as she sought fame any way she could and was ravishing in her dumbness."


I don't know where to further with this research, short of calling her manager (a bit like stalking, even if I am in the business) to ask if Holly/Molly is/are one person or two people. Props to Arnold & Allison for having me confused and not focusing on so many other important aspects of the game.

I am absolutely convinced that Holly/Molly is reprising her role in Director's Cut -- the dumb would-be actress role. In the movie, she is killed/dismembered. If she continues to be annoying, I'll bet someone in the BB crew has similar thoughts, not to mention Karen, Lori, Adria, Jenn, etc.

The more I try to figure this one out, the more I reach for my favorite bottle of single malt.

I'm mainly upset that not only do we have wanna be stars in this year's BB, but we have those who already have credits and are "acting". Sure takes a lot away from what BB used to be. Next year, they may as well just go out and hire folks and forget the "reality" part of the show. Name it something new. This is one more thing that ruins what "reality" is supposed to be. And no wonder they are so spoiled. Have to keep the stars happy!

And Holly is the most annoying HG I have seen in ages. Whether she is acting and switching out as a twin or not, the character is just so annoying. And am sick of the cameras staying on her all day....LOL

I was thinking today that if Holly really is playing dumb,and she gets all the way to the end because of it,she will be my favorite reality 'player' of all time. Can you imagine if she scts like this until the end of the game and when the jury starts asking questions,she'll break out like Einstein on their asses!

If she isn't playing her stupidity up,then I actually feel very sorry for her. I also wonder how she has gone through life like this without being physically assaulted.
