I'm sure we won't get our free music anymore, so they better not jack up the price. Grr.

All I really care about are: a logical interface, Flashback, and that they don't make it extra hard to take screencaps.

CBS announced that the live Wednesday episode is moving to 8PM instead of 9. So this summer's TV schedule is:

Wednesdays at 8PM ET (live eviction)
    Sundays at 8PM
    Tuesdays at 9PM

    Sunday - usual
    Tuesday - new
Wednesday - new for live show

So...rather than Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, there will be a big gap between the live show on Wednesday and Sunday. Good times for Live Feeders, quite a wait for show watchers; although the short spaces early in the week will be interesting.

Regarding BB After Dark moving from Showtime2 to TVGN:

Matt Boyer of the BBNetwork site spoke to a Senior VP of TVGN, and posted the interview this morning. The highlights:
    • The term “curated live feeds” (which showed up in the fine print of the initial press releases) simply means what the control room has always done: selecting shots from the feeds so that we don't see empty rooms. There won't be any delayed feeds or additional editing* beyond what we've seen on Showtime
    • After Dark will be shown commercial-free for the first week, and after that will have limited commercial breaks, similar to Showtime's setup
    • After Dark will air full-screen with no programming guides scrolling beneath them.
On the upside, After Dark's potential audience will jump from ~20 million to ~80 million. The downside: it's true that the show will only run 2 hours each night instead of 3.

    * I put an asterisk after "additional editing" because the Senior VP gave a long-winded answer that took a few turns getting there. So we'll see. Showtime was usually pretty gunshy anyway, and had an annoying habit of cutting away from explicit content when they could, so I'm just hoping TVGN doesn't take it even further.

Regarding BB After Dark moving from Showtime2 to TVGN:
Bad news for me as I have Showtime2, but not TVGN. I have Uverse and they have no plans to get TVGN. There are many good features that Uverse has that I don't want to give up such as recording 4 shows at once so will have to forgo BB After Dark. I get the live feeds so it will still work out okay - hopefully. Love my BB.

Just around the corner! Getting excited!! I have a 3 month old baby now, so feeds will be harder for me to watch like I use to, but I'll be here as much as I can. Can't wait!

They had Media day yesterday -- we won't see coverage of it for about a week, but there are some tweets out there from some of the media folks who took part:
