'Big Brother 12' 2010 Spoilers: The Saboteur is Sabotaged, so What's Next?
On Thursday night's episode of CBS' Big Brother 12, the elusive season 12 saboteur was revealed to be 27 year old Annie Whittington. The goal for Whittington was to create mayhem in the
Big Brother house and make it to week 6, when she would collect $50,000. But unfortunately for Annie- and for CBS- the saboteur was the first person voted out of the house.
In typical Big Brother fashion, this season's big twist fizzled fast. A whole lot of hype for nothing. With 13 houseguests, what were the chances of the secret saboteur being the first person evicted? Well, it happened. But could CBS and Big Brother have some other tricks up their sleeve?
According to Zap2It , in an unusual precedent, this season all of the evicted houseguests will be sequestered. This is a departure from past seasons, when only the latter evicted houseguests were sequestered in order to be part of the finale night jury. The fact that Annie- the first person evicted- has already been sequestered can only mean one thing- someone is surely coming back into the house this season. Why else would CBS put her in a holding tank?
Keep in mind, the fact that Annie is sequestered does not mean the saboteur will strike again. Julie Chen signed off on Thursday night with the message to tune in on Sunday to see the houseguests reaction when she tells them that the saboteur was Annie. So I think the sab storyline is finito. Or is it? Could CBS grant another houseguest saboteur power? That could be quite interesting.
As for who will come back into the house, it could be anyone or no one. In past seasons, viewers have voted evicted houseguests back into the house. Some may think Annie didn't get a fair shot and want to see her come back. The catty fireworks between Annie and Britney would make for some good TV. And now that Annie called Brendan out for being a player-and a liar- she'd have even more enemies than she did when she was evicted (doubt they'll be "friends", as Brendan hoped in his goodbye message to Annie, after he sees the tapes of her exit interview with Julie Chen)....
