Second of all, was he bullying her into splitting it or else he wouldn't take the veto from Jessie? I'm just a little confused by how/why her money came into play when he had the letter and Jessie had the veto.

Jerry was giving April the chance to split the money, or lose the money completely, was how I saw it. Libra was the top dog, and could have taken all the money from Jerry. The way he did it, the top 3 got some money, plus they still had the power of veto in their possession. I thought it was a pretty smart move.

It was still strong-arming, and it goes against his "I'll do whatever the HoH says" mantra. There are worse people in the house, and I feel for how isolated he must feel in the house at times, but he's not quite the example/force he thinks himself to be.

Sort of... but putting all of his trust in Libra . It would have been GREAT if Libra had taken the money from April, leaving Jerry with nothing but the POV and Ape with a red unitard. Too bad she is sort of in their mob alliance.

I will be interested in learning how the money really winds up being split. I have a sneaking suspicion that it won't end up evenly among the three.

I thought Jerry's move about taking the veto in exchange for part of the money was decent strategy. April was game-savvy enough to think of offering the money in exchange for someone in her alliance taking the veto from Memphis - which duh, was rather important. I wouldn't trust Libra to do the alliance's bidding.

I know what you mean. I think Libra is starting to suspect that she is a woman with no alliance. And she would be quite right!

I think it was pretty smart of Jerry to play the way he did. He was assured that the veto nominations didn't change, got part of the money, and didn't have to wear the dang red suit! He knew enough to keep playing until closer to the end.

If Jerry thinks the girls are going to take him to the end he's got another thing coming.

I'm pretty sure I posted this about someone in BB9 and also about someone in the most recent Survivor, but I'm beginning to believe that my hatred for specific individual reality show participants is capable of growing exponentially. At one point in my life, I was certain that there MUST be a limit to how much loathing I am capable of feeling, but I am regularly proven wrong. And Jerry is the one currently proving me wrong. Is it possible that I despise him more than...who was it last time? Natalie? Is it possible I despise him more than Natalie? I believe that this may very well be the case. He is just unfathomably loathesome.

I understand how you feel Rattus. During BB6 I thought that the NH were the most despicable, loathsome folks to grace BB. Then comes along Jerry. I feel a little bad for thinking so lowly of an elder, but he brings it on himself. The things he has said about Dan.... just wrong. Plain wrong. If I were his kids or grandkids, I would be on the phone to Dan's family offering my apologies right now.
