I'm sick of this woman already, but I do respect that she has identified Ollie for the weak, inexperienced puppy that he is and is willing to exploit that. Somebody's got to help that boy grow up.

If I see her throw her hair one more time, I just might hurl.

April on what attracted her to Ollie: "It's just so nice to have someone to conversate with in an intellectual way."

    Oh. My. God.

I know. When she said "conversate" (or whatever messed up incorrect version of "converse" she used; I can't remember if "conversate" was the exact one or not), I wanted to hit myself in the head .

Actually, I found 'conversate' in Merriam-Webster, unfortunately. I'm sure it's a new addition. I, too, hate that word when 'converse' is sitting there waiting to be used, and 'conversate' is not necessary.

If you'll look close you'll find it's in the 'White Trash' edition.

Damn. I guess I should check my sources next time before I accuse contestants of being idiots . Not that I'm saying that April's not an idiot, though, let's be clear on that.

I used to proofread dictionaries for a living (seriously) and I can assure you that CONVERSATE is not a word. Merriam-Webster shows it as slang, an improper back-formation from the word CONVERSATION. Other dictionaries refer to it as ebonics or "a slang term popularized by rap artists," but nowhere could I find it actually defined as a word that has entered the language -- thank God. April is an idiot. Sorry.

From Webster's New Millenniumô Dictionary of English, Preview Edition (v 0.9.7)

    Main Entry: conversate
    Part of Speech: v
Definition: to socialize and chat; to converse with another
    Etymology: back-formation from conversation
    Usage: slang

Everyone is right! It's in the dictionary, it's slang, and April is still an idiot.
