I agree, Veruka. Dustin had to do something to defuse the fact that Joe had already been with the group of 11, "charming them" and whatnot, and then publicly stated that Dustin had given him an STD (eewwwwhhhh - why say that about YOURSELF, let alone someone else on the first day you're meeting people). Going around and trying to be pleasant was a good move by Dustin to show "I'm a human being, and what Joe said about how he tried to destroy my life is WHO JOE IS, so let's all get JOE the heck out of here."

I hope Dustin does well. I feel for Dustin and anyone else who has an ex that cackles with glee and relishes telling others about how much pain they causes a former partner. BTDT

I wish we'd been able to see more of him on the shows because I really like what I've seen so far.

I'm rooting for him to go a long way.

i just hope him and Joe don't rekindle their former romance. Unless it's for sneaky showmance business which I think is just the right medicine for Drama-Queen-Extraordinaire-Joe.

I'm with you, Tyme. From what I've seen of Dustin, I really like him. He deserves much better than Drama Queen Diva Joe.

I finally figured out who he looks like, I think. I might change my mind later, however.

Jeff Varner, from Survivor Outback. I wish I could find a pic of him in his glasses as I think they look very similar. Dustin is just a slighter build.

He looks and acts a lot like a dear friend of mine who passed away a couple of years ago. Which gives me kind of a soft spot for him.

I didn't realize he was only 22! He looks and acts much older than that. But I guess it explains why he's still so incredibly limber.

I like Dustin.I agree with you LG,that was good strategy to make nice with everyone after Joe cut him down.
He seems like a sweet guy who has been given a real bum rap by Joe,and so far he is getting along with everyone, including Joe(I would have drowned him in the pool a long time ago,so kudos to you Dustin, for not committing justifiable homicide)
I hope he does well, and the way he is playing the game,I bet he will.
