Being consistently mean, constantly degrading others, creating a gang like mentality (don't talk to so and so or I'll make your life hell too), etc, etc... is being a bully. That is what Amanda is doing and being. She's not making a mistake. She's showing her true, and pretty dang ugly, colors.
I'm in agreement about Amanda being a bully. I just wish all of the other houseguests would stand up to her and not let her get away with her bullying. I think they are being wimps.

She said she was the actual victim because they made fun of her for being blonde. Amanda did say to the camera she found Aaryn to be sheltered and unaware. She did express frustration.
What is interesting about that is how Amanda later mocked Candice by screaming "ooh am I a racist now? Huh, Shaneequa?" Throwing Aaryn's words back in her face. I saw Amanda visibly shaking with rage. It was imo, Amanda's way of degrading Candice even further by zeroing in on specific words , previously used, to hurt Candice. It was a way to say "hey, you over reacted Candice, to comments made to you. Are you gonna cry now and call ME a racist, you wuss." It's the subtext, the in-between-the lines message that was more hideous than the actual words. Even if you stand up to someone like Amanda, as Candice did, there is a sense of utter aloneness because no one is backing you up. I really got that from Candice. Toward the end, she was reacting outwardly to the pain she was carrying.
So you know ... I wasn't in anyway disagreeing with you. I was referring to when they(Jeremy and Kaitlin) took over a bed and wouldn't let Jessie sleep in her bed. They (Aaryn) had tipped Candice's bed over and said it was full of crabs anyway. .Judd came and protectively escorted Jessie out of the room ... Howard carried Candice out ... but I vaguely remember Amanda offering to handle it ... and then going into that room and talking to them.
These animals may be making me hallucinate ... but didn't that happen?

I am not saying that was a kinder, gentler Amanda ... and realize it was part of her asserting her control/power from the beginning. She handled the bullies ... and now she has picked up their weapons.

Its been so long now, she seems to be able to say what she likes and do what she likes .That's why I like Elissa, she didn't let her have her own way!

I think that shows that Amanda's focus the entire time has been controlling everyone in the house. On occasion, she's used that control as a force for good. More often than not, she's used that control as a force for taking care of herself and no one else. She readily admitted that she wanted Howard out of the house early on because she could not control him. She does not want to be around anyone who she can't control. That would be fine as a game tactic. But as I said, given her comments in the diary room, she appears to believe she should be able to control people in life ... not just for the purposes of the game. Contrast her to Helen, who also wanted to control people's game play. When things went her way, she was excited. When things didn't go her way, she accepted she was outplayed. With Amanda, she seems genuinely surprised when people do not succomb to her control. That makes me think that in the house or not, she will only be around people she can control and who will be subservient to her. To me, that's being a bully. To some degree it has to do with the way that she makes other people feel. But the bigger factor in my opinion is that she seems to have a total lack of regard or respect for anyone else and sees everyone as a means to her end.

I think someone is going to suggest she become a professional wrestler. Wouldn't she be perfect?

I talked to my editor friend last night, worried that Amanda was going to continue to get a good edit and and he told me not to worry and that I wouldn't be disappointed. Which is great, because I wasn't really looking forward to tonights show but I totally am now. I think they are about to blast her for her crap. Can't wait!

Great news! I had forgotten you had an editor friend! Does he share things with you that you have promised not to post? He should be glad he is not my friend because I would badger him for details all the way from the rumor to just how much does the DR steer and beyond........way beyond.

I'm truly asking this in all seriousness: do you really feel she's gotten a good edit? I have friends who don't watch/read feeds or spoilers and think she's an absolutely horrible person based on her rants to Candice and Jessie, DR sessions, the crickets we practically heard chirping when she asked McCrae, Spencer and Andy (I think) if they thought she was a bully, etc. I think she's definitely being shown as a bully, but maybe because they don't show everything (there's not enough time, imo) she's said/done, it appears as though they're favoring her? Just a question.
Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference.

there are times when he won't tell me crap because he knows I play on this board. So I'm careful about how much I ask him.

Re: the "good edit" - I'm not saying that it's glowing - but when you consider that Aaryn has had several segments about her racism while Amanda has said just as many awful things if not more, then I think that's what people mean when they talk about the good edit. It's not glowing, but it definitely isn't accurate.
