What is so amazing to me is we had 3 thrown Comps in the Final HOH competitions. That has to be a record in the finals. Ian + Dani threw the 1st one, and Dan threw the 3rd one (pretty sure about this because 2 of the questions he got wrong, even I knew the answer + I am usually really bad at the HG questions). It took a lot of nerve for Dan to throw that 3rd comp, even if he expected Ian to take him, it was still a little dangerous.
As far as the Jury Voting, I really do think they took into account that Dan had won before. Jenn even admitted it last night in the interview that was her reason. I suspect a lot of the others also had that reasoning, but wont admit that was part of their reason to vote for Ian. They were all so happy for Ian.
I also think Dan just pushed it a little too far with always relying on others to take him, rather than just play to win at the end. Winning the final HOH leaves a big impression as far as trying to win the championship. It is nice to be able to say that you won the final HOH. I don't quite understand Dan's insecurity in trying to compete in the comps. I think if he tried in those, he may do well.
Overall, it was a great finish to a great season.
I hope Danielle gets whatever help she needs in order to be able to handle the aftermath. No doubt that she will dig out info on how people thought of her. The way she was asking Shane questions at the end was proof she was already starting that path. It seems to me Shane was burning the bridge with her already with the "live too far" comment. Danielle will have the toughest time of any of them. I do hope she gets some support that she will need.
