    BB 12 Strategy Discussion Thread

    We have a new HoH!

    Who should they nominate?

    Who will they nominate?

What do you think the ramifications of the nominations will be?

    Who will ultimately go home?

What is their best possible move?

What is their worst possible move?

This is the thread in which to ponder the above questions and discuss any other strategic plays people should make during the new HoH's time.

I found it interesting that after Rachel and Brendon just spent time reassuring each other of their commitment to keep each other safe(all kissy face, of course), they split up and went to hang out with different groups. The old divide and conquer strategy or coincidence?

Brendon and Rachel are supposed to be smart. They are being really stupid in this game. Showmancing this early is stupid. I'm not sure about how sincere the alliance between Annie and Brendon is. It won't last since Annie seems jealous of Rachel. Anyway, Annie or Rachel is going home. Brendon is trying to get Monet evicted this week. That makes no sense. The house is turning against a few people and Monet is not one of them. He needs to target Annie if he wants to save Rachel or Britney if he wants to save Annie and Rachel.
Kristen seems to be laying low and using secret alliances. I think she needs to be more involved in the game right now but I like that she is one of the only ones holding back this first week.

Re: BB 12 Strategy Discussion Thread

Just read in the State of Play thread that Britney removed herself from the block after winning POV and Matt is her replacement.

I don't have the feeds so I don't know what Rachel's reasoning is for putting him up.
I don't think he'll go though. If the brigade holds strong he has three votes and just needs another two.
Assuming he won't get Britney, Andrew or Brendon, can he get two of Ragan, Kathy and Kristen?
    I would think so.

For live feed watchers, how are things looking?
Does it look like Money or Matt will go this week?

Matt is a willing pawn since Rachel/Brendon still don't know about the Brigade. Monet is a goner.

    Interesting.
There is no way in hell I'd volunteer myself for the block, ever.

Why would Matt volunteer to go up to ensure Monet goes home if he really wanted Andrew gone that week? He's just too cocky and now people don't trust him (more than before). Mensa is going to want his membership card revoked. I mean, if he really wanted Monet gone, fine! But he doesn't. Also, he is using Ragan when it isn't necessary to do that.

I don't have the feeds but I was under the impression that Matt volunteering to go up was a bluff. Is that not right? I thought he just wanted to appear willing to "take one for the team" but really did not want to go up and didn't think that Rachael would put him up.
