Re: Live feed subscribing & canceling - discussion

I emailed superpass yesterday to complain about the poor feeds and how it is using large amounts of bandwidth and computer resources. They emailed me this morning with the "we are working on those issues" and they gave me another 2 weeks subscription.

    Welcome ottoskrbie!

Since they're web-based, I guess you would be able to view the feeds anywhere with browsing capabilities that can read Adobe Flash. But I'm no expert on iPhones or the PSP. Maybe the Superpass site has some info, if no one else here knows?

Iphones don't have flash, so if that's what it uses you can't watch on that

If you go to the BB Viewer website (BBViewer.com - The FREE Big Brother Live Feed Viewer) there have listed another viewer that they say uses less bandwidth and uses a program called FLV Player.

Where did you email? I want to complain too. They also billed me $32 something when it was supposed to be $29.99. I'm going to complain about the flashback!

I'm on the phone with them now... the extra $2+ is tax. what a crock.

and about flashback.. I just told him that I could not fast forward or rewind and he says "we have a lot of feedback regarding this, our technical department are working on it and you will receive an email shortly letting you know it has been fixed". we'll see about that....

I have been watching now for over an hour using the above viewer and I have not had it reload once! Hopefully it is using less bandwidth too.

OK... this is my second stupid question of the day. I'll limit them to two in 24 hours.

how can you tell how much bandwidth your using?

I have comcast internet and I had no idea I was only allowed to "use so much" per month... I thought the internet was unlimited. I also have a wireless router for when I'm on my laptop and, again the computer illiterate I am, have no idea if that goes through the Comcast account? I'd hate to be watching my feeds continuously for a month and then get a ginormous cable/internet bill......
