So as of right now Danielle is planning on using the veto. Shane even knows about it.

I think she is afraid Shane will vote Dan out. She told Shane that it is better that Dan vote Ian out. I missed her talk to him but I am going to guess she took the angle that it is better for his game if he doesn't have the blood of Ian on his hands.
