i notice a lot of people optimistically say that to lend her appearance some sort of redemptive quality. but i'm pretty sure she will look back at it all and be rather pleased with herself because she really is a trainwreck of a person.

I think you're right that people want to try to sort of leave her an exit strategy from her stupidity. She is definitely a wreck, and probably initially not her fault, but she certainly isn't doing much to pull herself up. (See previous lengthy post) Liike I've said before, her eyes bug out the way they do because her head is stuffed so full of CrAZy. She may not have the perspective to regret her conduct next week, next month or next year, but eventually maturity reaches us all. Under all that disfunction she does strike me as a very bright and capable person. I still say one day she will look back at this chapter and be absolutely mortified. In the mean time if she isn't careful someone is going to suck her into the porn industry I'm afraid. She is such an easy target. If she acts like this when she knows the whole world is watching, can you imagine what she is like when she thinks no one is looking? Somewhere I can imagine she has a father and mother who have to live with this, their daughter's shame broadcast to the world and cry themselves to sleep. Of course, I would see it from a man's point of view, so I can empathize with how deep this must cut her father. I feel very sad for her and her entire family.

Adam and Nat are trying to convince BB to give them some weed. The selling point being how a little chronic would skyrocket ratings. It's an interesting proposition. It would be hell to have a raging case of the munchies and be on slop though.

I don't think for a minute BB told them to reign it in. In fact, like it or not what happened last night was ratings gold. Of course some didnt like it, but I would gamble far more liked watching it. The fact is both crowds watched, and that is what counts for CBS. Just enough of it to be titillating (no pun intended...really) will be used for the next broadcast, which will cause BBAD and 24/7 subscriptions to skyrocket. In the mean time the people who already subscribe to those venues are spreading the buzz. Sex sells, even when it is a drunken, self-degrading train wreck.

If you got it, flaunt it I suppose. That guy is a serious freak, but when he is just having a normal conversation with someone you can tell he is very intelligent. I think his movie career will probably hold him back on occasion, but he is really the only on in the house who I wonder where he will be in 10 years. He's definitely a unique critter.

Natalie is a sad, sad girl who must have absolutely the lowest opinion of herself, she hides behind her body and her sexuality. Ss someone who knows first hand what happens when you don't like yourself, she is the poster child for low self esteem. Couple that with what seems to be a lack of common sense and absolutely NO ability to read non verbal cues and she's headed for real trouble.

Big Brother can pick 'em, I suppose these people sign on knowing they will be exploited, but dang, I believe I would keep some of that to myself.

Natalie is a sad, sad girl who must have absolutely the lowest opinion of herself, she hides behind her body and her sexuality. Ss someone who knows first hand what happens when you don't like yourself, she is the poster child for low self esteem. Couple that with what seems to be a lack of common sense and absolutely NO ability to read non verbal cues and she's headed for real trouble.

I don't think BB is exploiting her or anyone else. She is a legal adult who sought out BB and competed against thousands of others through a grueling weeding out process for the opportunity to exploit herself - again. Same goes for when she was a stripper. No one was exploiting her but her. Same goes for when she ends up in low budget porn movies (with James?).

I think the downward spiral we are seeing with her is because she does whatever she can to get attention. The problem is every time she is successful at that goal, it only raises (lowers?) the bar for the next attempt. She has to come up with something more outrageous each time in order to top her last performance. The best thing for her is to be evicted asap and get her away from the cameras.

Interesting point with her missing non-verbal cues. There are forms of high functioning autism that cause exactly that. Could that be at the root of all of her conduct and no doubt what has become a pattern in her life? Could it be that through her life she has never understood the people around her due to some form of subtle autism. It would be so lonely, surrounded by all sorts of people, yet somehow always outside of what is going on. Being a female it is much easier for her to use her sexuality to sort of barter her way into relationships? Hmm...

You bring up an interesting point. I already had decided that she has the same thing I have. It is often misdiagnosed as asberger's (sp?). I have NVLD (non-verbal learning disability). Do a google search and you'll understand why I say this and all off the characteristics. I am fully aware that I (like Natalie) talk too much and cannot pick up on non-verbal clues to STFU. It is VERY frustrating because people get mad at me eventually and I don't understand why and my feelings get hurt. I tried to explain this to my boss because she has been really unkind "trying to help" and can't understand why I can just change it but I can't. I'm 32 years old and I can't fix it. Believe me I've tried!

I think that when it gets down to about two sets of couples they will be let loose from the couple thing. I don't think that CBS wants to pay each person $500,000 and the application says 1 person will recieve 500,000.
