I hope they show ALL the dirty stuff on TV! I'm in BC, Canada, so it's not usually on til 9pm here, both my kids (6 & almost 1) are in bed by then. If it was on at a time when my 6 year old was still up, I'd put a movie on in my bedroom for her, and for my one year old, he isn't going to know whats going on anyway LOL.

I'm not looking for porn, but sex is a very natural part of life. To censor BB & make it look like a Disney show is not real life, and would not appease a majority of the audience.

I agree. I think CBS and Julie have been throwing the x-factor thing all around to distract us with what they really are trying to give us......... the SEx-factor. There are fewer married people, they are younger, they are less diverse (all hetero) and if one were to hook up with an ex it would create more drama.

Sure looks that way. I actually like it when they have a few "married w/children" types in the house. Last year they had at least 3 with kids to miss. Danielle especially had to miss her kids so much since she was in the house the longest. I liked the BB3 crowd alot, they were much more diverse and continued to be interesting. This crowd of 20-somethings and slightly 30-somethings doesn't have much more to talk about than the "SEX-factor."

It's not like I don't remember what it was like to be that age, free & single, without a care in the world (it wasn't THAT long ago ), but I like to hear conversations from a little more worldly and older/experienced people as well.

Oh well... after a few weeks I'll be so used to these guys anyway!

I agree...I was thinking today that they have to many people in their 20's..I mean, half are under 25. They need to pick two from around 20, two from around 25, two from around 30, two from around 35, etc, up to maybe 50 or so..that would guarantee a very diverse group, and would garner a larger market share of viewers (age-wise).

Also, if a 30 year old guy (such as myself..hehe) thought a 22 year old woman was sexy, and they were both single, what would stop them from gettin' it on?

I totally agree with you! Not enough variety. These people all seem to be the same. Nate - personal trainer/Erika -Pillates Instructor/Dana Karate Diva.. they are all the same, as a matter of fact I have a great deal of trouble telling some of them apart on the feeds : Allie/Michelle
and Justin/David. My friend galacticcowgirl has some insight on this matter !!

I've skipped most of the responses in this thread only cause I want to congratulate you on having one of the best pics of Spike I have ever seen. He is stunning -- and he'd better show up on Angel next season.

That said -- This is BB, the sociological experiment -- made so much more complex now with the X factor. They have to show everything (well of course not the challenges) because those of us who are fans with live feeds would never watch the TV show (they do have that all wrong) but I digress.

What makes this show so addicting to many of us is exactly that it is uncensored and the hampsters are there to be observed and dissected.

I agree with the basic sentiment in this thread.. also I was thinking:

The group they have in the house this year has actually made me feel my age. . That very rarely happens to me.. I tend to think of myself as much younger than I am ... I wonder if CBS/BB will lose viewers because of the 'frat boy/girl' attitude happining?

I think Erika put it nicely when she made the comment that it felt like a college frat house. The diversity is pathetic. There are just too many alpha males and sorority type girls, it's sad. I felt terrible for the group of four who remained outside playing chess while the greeks played a juvenile game of truth or dare. I felt bad b/c as usual the games of strategy and intelligence are outnumbered by the brainless ones.
