I really do believe that Dan's goal has always been getting Dani to the F2 with him. He takes his coaching seriously and it would be a huge win for him to get both of them to the end.

In all his DR room sessions, he has constantly said that he is trying to win for himself and his wife. Bringing Danielle would be a bonus and only because he feels he would win against her in the voting, but only for selfish reasons only.

She pointed out that saving Ian benefited him and not her.

At one point she got her mad on, pushed up her sleeves and pulled up her jammy legs to the knee. She told him she was mad, but she is listening.

Why are they whispering when Ian is no where near there. Ugh.

You can always tell when Dan is caught in a bind or trying to make up a lie. He'll repeat whatever question you ask him and add a second option to it, forcing you to repeat it again while he thinks.

And she's finally seeing the light ... AFTER she threw the comp to him. Whoopsie.

Yeah, but the problem is she is still believing 1/2 of the BS he is throwing at her right now. Shie is just like Joe now. She has figured it out, but she is not quite believing what she is starting to realize.

Lots of editing goes in to what we see. I'm not saying that what we see didn't come out of his mouth but we're not seeing context. Look at Dani. She is playing the part of the sweet southern belle in her DRs and we all know that's a load of crap.
