BB14 Strategy Discussion Thread

Ian is right. I think he can and would beat Dan if those are the Final 2. If Dan wins and takes Danielle, I think Britney and Ian would both vote for Dan. If it's Ian in the end, Dan isn't prying Brit's vote away from Ian and I don't think he would swing Ashley's either. I'm assuming this is a more personal and emotional jury we're getting than in some other years.

I keep thinking back to one of Dani's DR session, where she says that it may be time to blindside Dan. Dan can't throw the final comp. Dani may take Ian. I haven't heard much on here or for that fact anywhere about this.

Danielle is out of the competition. Only Dan or Ian can win the final HOH.

Dan wont beat Ian at the questions round chances are

so basically Dani is hoping that Ian/Dan will evict each other and take her so she can play for $50k

it's not gonna happen though

Ian worked it out on the hammock w/ his imaginary friend so i think he will ultimately end up making the right decision and evicting Dani

although Ian seems shaky he's too smart to fall for Dani's nonsense

I'm not entirely sure. Ian is really good at memory stuff, but I don't know how good he is at understanding people's emotions - and isn't part 3 guessing which houseguest said what? I don't think they are game questions, they are personality questions - and Dan has spent a lot of time listening. He's spent a lot of time asking personal questions and really listening to what everyone says, and I think that part of his game has been developing relationships with people and getting to know people on a personal level. I think that it will really help in Part 3 - unless of course he's going to throw it, which is totally a possibility.

I believe Dan knows he has less chance to win the jury over if he takes Ian.
He may be willing to take that chance or he will have to take it, if Ian beats him,
or if he throws it to Ian, or...if he wins it and chooses Ian, which is not as likely

If Dan is okay with 50,000, and wants Ian to win, no problem in going to F2 with him.

I think that Ian won't take Dani, even if he figures he can beat her
with the jury. Ian thinks he can beat Dan there too, and he may be right.

I think Dan's best chance is to take Dani - a) he stays loyal and that was his stated goal to get her to the end. If he doesn't take her all of his talk will have been for naught - AND he'll lose to Ian. He may lose to Dani just on emotions of the jury house but he would have a much better shot with Dani.

I think Ian takes Dan based on the above quote - Ian wants to be legend. And I think Ian will will. And I'm okay with that.

I like that all except your last sentence, malthus. I want Dan to win. :-D

Ah, okay, if Ian wins, at least Dan is in the finale. No matter what the jury vote is,
Dan made the season the entertaining, and at times, spine-tingling game that it was.

I think Dan *worked* hard enough to win, ha. Boogie and Janelle and Britney too,
I believe, said they all worked very hard this season, first as coaches.

I have it on the dvr and actually I think the comment about her playing you the whole time was said by Dan. It baffled me at the time. It makes me think that Dan is planning to take Dani because if she leaves, and Shane tells her what Dan said to him on the way out the door neither of them would vote for Dan.
