| April/It is sad that America likes those people Maggie/They have no connection to us......most of us didn't apply for this.....America sees us as people who just want to play the game.......they don't see as as people with hearts.......they don't want a group of people hugging each other. they want to see fights. |

The Twin Cities (Minneapolis and St. Paul) are very progressive and known for their arts. We have more theatres per capita than anywhere else in the country other than NYC. We are home to lots of big companies including Target, Honeywell, Carlson Companies (Radisson hotels), and 3M. We have teams for the 4 major sports: Twins baseball, Vikings football, (although they are blow hards...kinda like April), Timberwolves basketball, and Minnesota Wild hockey. We are known as the state with 10,000 lakes, but I think technically, Wisconsin has more. Regardless, there is water everywhere and it is a very lush and green state. We have the one of the country's 10 best wilderness canoe areas (Boundary Waters) and more....... Our schoolds are excellent. The state of Minnesota had the highest SAT scores in the country this year (usually it is #2 behind Wisconsin; this year, we switched rankings and WI is #2) As a parent of two, you can't beat it as a place to raise kids. Oh yeah, the city of Rochester, MN is home to the world-famous Mayo Clinic. Maybe they can do something for Ivette when she leaves the house..... | |
