| I personally hate my voice but I guess it's cute. ![]() His voice though...ughhhhhhhhh. It drives me up the wall and I hope he gets less airtime so that I hear him less and maybe will like him more. |

| How sad. Many here are posting about the Pretty Boys being so annoying ... and now some are raggin on Michael because he's different. ![]() I don't care how a person talks, it's what is said that defines character and this guy is chalk full of it. More so than many of the others there. I loved that he's wearing a ring ... that lets his fiancee know that she's on his mind and he' looking at winning, not scoring.

| I'm liking him more all the time. I think he's an honest, hard working young man who probably hasn't had a lot of the privileges that the "beautiful" people have. I certainly don't feel that he's out of place in the house. To me, he's sort of the only one who is real. I don't know about everyone else, but in every day life I run in to a lot more Michael's than the frat boys and model types, thank goodness. Oh, decan? TOTALLY disagree. When Michael and Jennifer are gone I have no more reason to watch. The frat house thing will wear really thin with me. |

First of all, I hate when people think "southern accent = dumb". And second, I don't want a house full of people who "fit in". How boring. I'd rather see 13 misfits. I agree that it was not wise to let the whole house in on the family connection. But holy cow, this isn't some stupid little secret like the window in the HOH room. This secret is life-altering. Michael has spent his whole life thinking his dad abandoned him, wondering if he should try to find him, and wondering if he might have other siblings out there. When Jenn told him her dad said he had no previous kids, Michael must have been devastated. In real life he would have his fiancee to turn to, or his mom, or his best buddy. But he's stuck in a house full of strangers and he desperately needs some input from someone, so he tells the meatheads - the people he had the best bond with. Smart? No. Understandable? You bet.

| Michael seems to be a guy with a very big heart and tries to make everyone feel welcome and hospitable. However, he seems to be content on doing chores to gain the housemates favor instead of making any alternative alliance besides the Horsemen. Even in that, he's fourth wheeling. As for how far he will go, he's not an immediate threat to get out of the house like Scott or Diana or annoying like Marvin or Holly so he could float his way like Jun to a the top 2 or he will be seen as indecisive and end up getting cut around 6th, 7th or 8th place. It really is too early to tell. |

However, *I* wouldn't determine how deserving he is to be on this show based on only two episodes. We haven't seen enough of him yet.So far. Michael's my favorite. He's seems genuine and endearing. Oh, and I happen to love his accent. ![]()

Also, we really don't know how much of what we're seeing from any of these people is just an act. I'm still praying that Holly is an act. I don't wanna believe that anyone is REALLY that much of a ditz ! ![]()

| "deserves" to be on the show? Quote:
I think this is the one man on the show who will clean up with commercial opportunities after the show. He is the cousin you love to run into at family gatherings, he is the guy who shows up when you move and carries twice his weight in boxes, the boy down the street who helps out his widowed mom, the guy who services your car and remembers your name. He is your husbands buddy from high school who always praises your cooking. The "frat pack" are cloned all over the streets of LA. Michael is unique in LA. Casting did a Great Job in selecting Michael. ![]()
