He's awesome. He seems so sweet. I feel really bad for him...that is just so much for someone to handle and on national tv away from his family and everything..

I like him and his sister. Don't see anything wrong with his looks either. I get tired of all the pretty people on reality shows. I like real people, thank you.... meaning nice people with a kind heart! He apparently has one. (so far) Hope he and Jennifer go far!

I do feel it's kinda tacky/weird/odd/ to display their unknown relationship like this. Perhaps tho there is a back story to this we are not aware of. If BB found out about it on their OWN...well, maybe I'll buy it. Like a researcher saw the odd last names and did some thinking and put it together. We'll have to see how it plays out.

to the last four posters. I hadn't planned to get sucked in to Big Brother this time, but the whole brother/sister thing is so heart-wrenching. It was so sad how much he has wanted to know his father - it must be torture for him to have discovered this and to try to keep it to himself.

I thought it was pretty cheesy of BB to pull this on these two people. Especially when she said that her father said he had no other children. Nothing like being denied by your father on national television. But I have a friend who works for the show and they told me that the father has no idea that Michael exists. So they're kind of doing the family a service. Still a pretty screwed up thing to go through - but makes great tv!

somehow I doubt that the father knows nothing about his son... Michael's mother seems to know quite a bit about his dad (the Vietnam landmine and such) and it would seem like she's been in some contact with him... but of course, I guess she could have hidden it from him...

Seeing as how Michael is only 23, the Vietnam thing would have happened prior to his birth. It is very possible that his mom got pregnant, they broke up, and she never told him about it or had contact with him again. Or the dad lied when he told his daughter he didn't have any previous children.

Either way, can you imagine what this is like for the families watching from home? It could very well be that Michael's dad only learned he had a son when Julie Chen explained the connection between Michael and Jennifer.

From what I was told the dad's a little messed up from Nam and has a problem or two. Maybe thats why the mom kept the existence of Michael from him.

I thought the whole thing was really screwed up. For one thing, I hope they told the family members at home that they were going to do this, otherwise CBS might have a lawsuit on their hands. Imagine if the father knew and has kept it a secret, and then it's revealed without his permission.

Doesn't anyone think it's strange how Michael was asking Jennifer all those questions about her father and she didn't think it was odd? I mean, he asked her if her father ever mentioned his life before he married her Mom and if he had any other children previous to that. And Jennifer just sat there casually answering his questions like they were normal. Those were NOT normal questions you'd ask a complete stranger.

I thought the whole thing was weird and stupid, and the twin idea stinks. The twins will get to know all the houseguests and will easily fool them, so what's the point.

It was earlier than I had expected that Michael would figure out the whole thing. Poor guy. Hopefully he'll start raging against the machine (or did he already do that?).
