| I agree 100%, Lemon Drop. Virtually all the cast this year was comprised of pretty young thin people. Cowboy, and his sister, were pretty much the most "normal" of the bunch. So was Marvin, to a lesser extent. Its hard for me not to pull for cowboy vs some male/female model. I know a lot of big-city East & West Coasters don't realize it, but there are a LOT of people like cowboy in this country (though some may be a bit brighter). He's more representative in a lot of ways than chunky highlighted, over tanned, teeth bleached wannabes like Jase, Diane, Drew, Holly, Scott, etc. Mike was also a fairly normal guy. Too bad he didn't last longer. |

| If he was actually playing the game instead of playing "The Quest for Honor" and begging for pictures from home, then maybe I would have more respect for him. His best bet right now is to evict Diane assuming he still holds the controlling vote. If he votes off Nik right now, then CB would have to beat the D-Team in HoH (which is slim to none). However if Nik & Cowboy work together, then they can make the D-Team extinct! Then Nik's dad would really be proud of them!!! Unfortunaelty, I don't see that happening at all. Cowboy is just not playing the game.

The whole point of this show is to put 13 vacuous, vain, stupid and especially selfish people in the game and see them interact. Last year, there was the former FBI agent, he was the exception. In last year, they had some people with professional jobs as well, but they were mostly selfish a-holes. Remember the one Korean guy (I don't remember his name.) Everyone was on PB & J and there was a McDonald's contest. He already won, he could have thrown it to let FBI guy win, but no, he wanted that too. He also reneged when he put everyone on PB and J so that he could have immunity. He said he would eat PB and J with everybody else and he didn't. This show thrives on having selfish a-holes. So do any of these people "deserve" to win. You be the judge.

The editing excuse doesn't work quite as well on a show with live feeds. I'll just leave it at that so I don't get in trouble. ![]() Either way I don't think he needs to editor's help to sound silly or like he's not playing the game. ![]()

Now... I am a parent and yes being away from a child that I gave birth to only 3 years earlier for that long would get to me.. but if I was really doing this type of show 'just for her' I think I could keep the Kathy Lee-isims to a limited few as NOT to get on the nerves of the world with my incessant droning on about her.

| Er....I really wish we had a longer edit window here. ![]() Regarding the editing on the show and the HOH comps, all I'm saying is that I think we are seeing Michael's real reasons for wanting to win HOH. But who am I to judge those reasons? ![]()

But Nakomis ? She's played probably the best game of anyone and hasn't majorly pissed off anyone. Why would she be less likely to beat Cowboy in the final two than Drew would ? Hell, Drew's family seems pretty well fixed. He doesn't even NEED the money !

| I'm also weary of the endless parade of perfect-looking, self-absorbed, 20-something celebrity wannabes. That's what I like about CB. Yes, he also has his dreams of stardom, but they don't seem to be the main focus in his life. That's why I don't get tired of hearing about his fiance and stepson-to-be. It seems like he is capable of genuine relationships, and I don't see that in the others. He can be as absolutely annoying as the next reality television participant. But I just get the feeling that he is less smoke & mirrors than the other, pretty people. He seems more substantial, even if somewhat immature.
