| My two cents : I think Marvin has been watching the show for the last couple of years. From that, he's learned that open alliances formed early in the game just don't mean much. Look at the last two seasons. Danielle and Jun both made it into the final two by having secret alliances with just ONE other HG. Large, open alliances create targets for the others. The Three Stooges got picked apart last year, and so will the $H this year. Wait and see. Marvin doesn't want to be too near them when it happens.

If I had to theorize someone, I'd say Marvin probably would align himself with Adria, and Natalie too if she makes it into the game. Marvin likes that "ghetto booty !" ![]()

| What happens with Drew and the POV stuff this week may drive Marvin to choose sides earlier than he planned. He may see the potential breakup of the horsemen and decide to align himself with the larger alliance this week. If there is a JA/SC vs DR/CB split, then Marvin is obviously wiser to try to align with the women (- Holly), Will and DR/SC. Of course, this may all be wishful thinking on my part--the demise of the horsemen. |

| I hate to say 'I told you so' but I told you so! The 4H is ditching Marvin like yesterday's newpaper. There is no hope for Marvin anymore. Any little hope of a 5H alliance is gone after what we saw last night. And I'm glad too. It won't be long before Marvin will join the fate of Mike and Lori. He can take his personal indicment crap and shove it up his you know what. Can't wait. |

| Marvin didn't seem to play it smart to me. From what I saw, he put himself obviously in line with the obnoxious 4H -- which he stupidly thinks is an alliance of 5. Honestly, alliances only work with people who care about honoring one's word. Not people who care not a whit about lying bald-face as they feel. Maybe he will redeem himself by realizing that before it is too late. |

| So is Marvin getting smarter, or what? He's subtle. So subtle that at first I didn't give him credit for it, but now I'm starting to see it. Even when he joined the 4H, he stayed on the outskirts, easily able to distance himself from them if it broke up. Then he goes to Nikomis and plants the seeds for the 6-finger plan. But--and here's the truly brilliant part--he let Nikomis think and act and take credit as if she had come up with it. He even volunteered to go up as one of the false nominees and how good does that willingness to help look? Then he goes out to Jase and Cowboy and lets slip that he thinks Diane is a false nomination (but not himself). Again, he provided the insight, the clue, the vital tidbit, BUT he leaves Jase come to his own conclusion. Again, Jase thinks that HE's the one that figured it out and all the action takes place around Marvin, but by and large he gets left out of it. He's built a number of ins and the only real target he has is that of floater, which, compared to the targets of "twin," "sibling," and "couple," isn't such a bad thing. And if the house devolves into a 4-4 split with him as the swing vote, he inherently gets a little power. Both by being the swing vote and by having teams more concerned with eliminating each other than the floater. (Why put up only 1 of your opponents and a floater when you can put up two of your opponents and hurt their voting block?) He may be a bigger, better puppetmaster than he's let on. |

| Marvin let out that he's on match.com. If you go and search for user name "maverick29577", there he is.
