I think she is a very lovely lady, inside and out. She seems content with her life - which given the circumstances shows a real strength of character. Unfortunately, I think she's going to be too trusting and will be sacrificed early.

If you'll check post 18 in this thread, you'll see that Lori is named by name specifically regarding the grant.

omg i read the story over and over again last night but the whole time i was thinking of holly!....ahhhh that really sucks because i like lori so i wish it wasnt her who has the disease!

Lori is very attractive, quite possibly #1 all-time on the BB hot-chick charts (not that there's an abundance of competition), but is too short to make it big as a model. Too bad for her.

I'm surprised that she would sign up for the show given her medical condition, or that CBS would allow it. She must be a lot better now. Hopefully that is the case. It would be a bummer if she dropped dead during the rubber duck toss or one of the other grueling BB competitions.

I think she sealed her fate, though, by taking the 10 G's. From what I've read about her here, I can see that she would have a hard time passing up the cash, but if she was serious about going far in BB, that was a big no-no. Just, please, oh mighty gods of reality TV, let her stick around long enough to get some quality on-air bikini time. And since I'm praying, let's make it a thong. Oh, and let the guys who post the live-feed screen shots get some good nude pics, too. amen

She knows she put a target on her back when she took the $$, but I think she did the right thing because no way would it have made it all the way down the line. Several people were shouting to TAKE IT! so you know they would have. Now, she's gonna have to try things to divert attention away from her, a job made near impossible whenever someone wants to eat.
She at least will be walking away with $10,000; which is more than the odds give her now.

I don't know if I was in her position if I'd have taken the money. I mean, you get lucky enough to get on the show to try to win a half million (hope I'm right about the amount), I don't think I'd give up trying for that by taking the $10,000. I'd still want to go for the gold. That's the whole purpose of trying to get on the show (at least for me it would be).

Given that the money would be offered to everyone, I probably would have taken it, too. And whenever someone complained about the PB&J, I would mention that, with 13 people, someone would have taken it, anyway.

I like her a lot. She seems genuine so far, and very sweet. And her pictures don't do her justice - she's gorgeous!

I think other things will have come up by the time that the nominations are made for HOH, and I don't think they'll hold this decision against her right now. I would have made that decision too probably.
