I wish I saw it completely, I was being distracted because I was arguing with my mother on teh phone... but from what I see, she is probably just bi-polar and goes through manic (happy) times and depression somewhat frequently.. because when she is happy, she is very peppy...

As for her goodbye messages.. there is nothing wrong with actually giving a damn about the people who she just helped to kick off.. I mean, she probably doesn't intend to be mean, but has to be for the sake of the game.. she just actually has morals which is a rare thing in a Reality Show...

I thought it was Hilarious that Marvin (biggest dude there) said how nervous he was of Karen ... he makes sure she's in bed before he goes to bed.

It's either a really good act or she ran out of medication.
I think it's an act. Also, can somebody really talk to themselves on this show? They are surrounded by a ton of people constantly. Who's to say she wasn't talking to one of them?

Good point. I hadn't thought of that. I guess with creative editing you can do just about anything!

I think it's an act. I mean, there's nothing else to do, except entertain (and perhaps scare the crap out of) the other HG's.

I will say, if its an act, it's a unique strategy. Make the other guests terrified to vote you out, but stop short of actually breaking the rules and getting kicked yourself.

I don't believe anyone has ever tried that strategy before.

Could she be talking to someone outside the house? She has a husband, right? I don't know how the live feeds work, but I assumed from her statements that she seemed to be "catching up" someone on her day ("I did X, then I cut my finger on Y and then I spoke to Z," etc). Perhaps she told her husband to tune in every day at 4:00 or something. Then she just finds an isolated spot and talks to him? It would look like she's going crazy but she may be trying to stay sane. Can you select and follow a specific houseguest's microphone in the Live Feeds?

step aside mister horseface! there's a new sherriff in town and her name is karen.

i'm thinking she will now step-up as public enemy number one. as soon as jase departs we will see her talons grow a few inches.

I agree. I think trying to stay in the background is not going to last. She will be called out at some point, and will completely loose it.

She's well on her way to a stay in the psych ward.

Re:

I can't believe how many people dislike Karen. I, personally, would probably try to play a similiar game. I would try SO hard to be nice to everyone. Including those I can't stand. I'd suck up. I'd make secret "You and me till the end" alliances with a couple of the houseguests who are majorally, and one lasting one with someone who is smart, and sliding under the radar. Knowing me, I'd probably lose it. I stick up for myself, and my friends, and I don't take crap from no one. And if I were in that house with Jase, on his last day I'd make his life a living hell. I'd pee on his toothbrush. I'd make his a toothpaste sandwich Anyways, back to my point. On housecalls, and on some other boards it seems like Karen is one of the least favourite players. The common reason? She schemes. What sort of answer is that?
