However, and this is MY big however, I do like to see a player with some game. Karen hasn't switched sides which is a Huge Plus on her side. She has proved to be a trustworthy player. Do you think it's possible Karen (who I admit is one of my two faves) is just waiting a little longer before stepping it up in the competitions ? I think you are right she needs to seriously compete sooner rather than later, but until now has done a very good job of distracting any attention towards her, at least from being a target. Her unusual behaviour certainly draws attention.........and I also hope whenever she gets out that her new bakery will be a HUGE success.

I would like to think that's she's playing the neurotic housewife role who can't win to save her life, but that when it IS necessary to save her life (as it might be this week --she might be on Mv's hit list at least as a sub if the veto is used) she will step up her game. Maybe her almost winning HOH this time was a sign of that. She had to be actually trying to do that well...so if she's seriously worried she should actually try to win Veto... assuming it is a game one can try in. These random luck of the draw contests are frustraing---when it all depends on what you stocking has in it how hard you try doesn't really have much effect.
Of course if she got veto the stress from being pulled in multiple directions would probably require an upping of her meds, unless she is pretending to be more fragile emotionally than she is!

I really still like Karen's play style, however, I think now is when we will start to see her make her move, especially if she noticed that she beat Marvin in the HoH comp.. (which I have no idea since I don't have the live feeds)... What she is doing though is laying low, but not being forgotten (whether by choice or lack of sanity)... she is looked at as the crazy person, so she is known for that, but otherwise is very loyal, picked an EXCELLENT ally, Nakomis.. and even Will to a degree, though he is gone now, they are still friends and if its Karen vs anyone besides Nakomis, then she wins a sure vote with that... And other then that, she is laying low and remaining relatively friendly to everyone.. kind of playing the Jun thing too with the cooking, though for her, its just baking I think...

While I have no real way to say if KAren is just insane, or if she is playing the crazy person, she is doing a good job with it regardless..

I really don't know if as people suggest above that Karen's lying low is a strategy, or if her normal mode of behaviour is not to confront.
I have taken notice of her clothes on the odd occasion and they are generally low-key sexually and little girl-ish. Her hair and make-up are usually quite perfect in a soft passive feminine way. She projects almost an aura of "please take care of me, I'm cuddly, harmless and yet a real woman" - not to be confused with Holly's ditzy soft femininity/sexuality. Again, this might be a strategem on Karen's part to throw people off.

Some here have speculated that Karen was trying to throw the last HOH comp. Let's ponder that a moment.

Even if Karen were nominated, she'd probably be safe on the block against anyone excepting perhaps Cowboy. But as HOH, Karen would be forced to show her hand by her nominations. She's evaded being a target so far. I say it's not out of the realm of feasibility that she'd rather take her chances on the block than to be in a position of having to put her allegiances in front of everyone.

But WOULD she be safe against everyone except maybe CB? Sooner or later people have to start looking at the endgame, final 2. She hardly seems to have irritated anyone...so you wouldn't want to go up against her. Whereas you might want to go up against Adria for example.... If she's actually playing skillfully UTR she has to be worried about when that moment will come when people start to get rid of the "nice" people. At that point she has to take her fate in her hands, and at least go for POV so no one can put her up as a sub.
Of course there's a very big IF in that paragraph!

It was great to see Karen win the POV last night, and Thursday's HOH comp. might prove whether our gal has really been under the radar all this time. My guess is that she really can play the game and realized it's now or never....

I don't know if I want to see Karen as HOH or not. I'm curious to see how she would handle it & who she would put up. I think she'll be put up on the block next week (or Saturday if that's how the episodes fall.)

Yea, I am refering to Karen... I missed the episode with the cartoons, its kind of sad since I've always like Karen's humor... but thats alright.. I did a bit of investigating, and apparently Karen is a really big artist, even has a page.. and I did manage to find one picture of the Cowboy cartoon, if anyone can find more of those, PLEASE share.. heh..
