Hello fearless Beauty and the Geek recap readers! The 10 of you still watching the show know that it’s Week 4 and things are finally starting to get exciting. Well, if you call Rebecca and Sam making out exciting, then it’s a regular ol’ party! Missed the show? Watched the show but just wanted to stop by to make fun of everyone with me? Either way, you are in the right place! On with the show!
We start things off with the usual recap scenes of last week’s show. My favorite couple, Josh and Hollie, was eliminated. Rebecca and tooly tool Sam began to grow closer. King Will took his place as ruler of the geeks, winning yet another challenge.
Do You Like To Watch?
Jesse and Erin return from the elimination room to applause and cheers. Erin vows revenge on King Will. Jesse tells Rebecca that she is a strong competitor and he thinks she will definitely make it until the end. She excuses herself to use the restroom AKA make out with Sam. Rebecca and Sam cuddle in bed together and then he turns the lights out. The cheesy 70s porno music begins and Sam and Rebecca get hot and heavy. Wait a second! They are in the top bunk and Nicole is still in the bottom bunk? Ugh! Do these people have no shame? I’m having flashbacks of my college dorm days when my roommate brought a guy home and…well, that’s another story for another time. Nicole, in tears, tells us that being in the room with them was an example of her worst fears coming true. Thankfully, she gets up and leaves. She tells us that Sam’s actions were very disrespectful of her and that he could have given her the heads up to sleep elsewhere. She cries and wonders what the people back home are thinking. Aww, Nicole. It’s okay. We all hate Sam just as much as you, possibly even more.
The next morning, Nicole talks to Katie in the backyard. Nicole feels that Katie is the beauty she is most comfortable with. Nicole asks Katie if she is overreacting by crying and being so upset, and Katie tells her no. Sam watches them from a distance. He actually feels bad and says he was stupid and that his brain wasn’t working. I think his brain was working just fine. Sadly, his brain is located in his pants. Nicole blames Rebecca more than Sam.
Joshua Wants To Pump You Up
Mike gathers all of the contestants in the study to tell them about this week’s challenges. As a tribute to Josh, Jesse is wearing some science lab type glasses. Katie is wearing a rubber band around her arm. Mike explains that America picked this week’s challenges. Fans could go onto the CW’s website and vote for their 2 favorite challenges in Beauty and the Geek history. The 3 nominees for the beauties are rocket science, computer science, and social science. Rebecca says she doesn’t know anything about rocket science or astrology really. My oh my. The 3 nominees for the geeks are massage by geek, fashion by geek, and body by geek. Dave comments that he doesn’t give a lot of massages because people don’t ask him for them, but his mother really likes them. Did that comment give anyone else the creeps? The beauties and geeks won’t know until the last minute which challenges America voted for, so they must study for all of them. Jasmine wants to win the challenge this week but complains that she is going to have to read – again. Poor Jasmine. It appears that reading makes her wittle bwain hurwt. The geeks must cram for their challenge because it will be happening shortly after Mike’s little pow wow.
The beauties help the geeks study about fashion and exercise. Jasmine teaches Dave about boy shorts and thongs. I suddenly get a mental picture of Dave LARPing wearing a thong. Yikes. Luke practices his jabs and Dave practices his bridge. I see a little bit more of his pasty white thighs than I’d like. Joshua practices walking in place. Shay says that she has never seen anyone as uncoordinated, unfit, and completely lost as Joshua. Joshua then begins running in place, touching his knees to his hands. She tells him he needs to keep talking while he is exercising, and he begins touching his elbows to his knees and counting off. Shay tells him to squeeze his butt cheeks together and he asks her if he should use his hands. She tells him just to use his muscles and he doesn’t know if he did it, but he’s trying. This is quite entertaining. If Joshua came out with an exercise video, I would definitely buy it. Jen and William practice in the backyard. Jen does pushups, situps, and all kinds of exercises for William. Nicole studies alone, commenting that she is trying to avoid Sam. Shay and Joshua practice some more. Joshua comes running into the room announcing, “Hello, welcome to Body by Josh. We are going to get you all in shape. So first; feet, shoulders to the part.” Shay responds with a “who?” and Joshua responds with a “what?” and I respond with a “huh?” Next thing to practice: massages. Jesse practices on Katie while John practices on Natalie. Shay tries to give Josh advice on how to massage her back. Everyone is worried that since Rebecca is a massage therapist, Will will have the advantage. Nicole talks to Luke about Rebecca and Will creating drama and being strong competitors. Wait. There is someone named Luke on the show? I forgot he existed, seeing as how he’s had about 2 minutes of airtime so far this season.
The Geek With The Magic Fingers
It’s geek challenge time! The geeks enter the backyard to find a row of massage tables. America has decided that their favorite geek challenge of all time is massage by geek. The beauties come out in robes. Sam isn’t looking forward to getting massaged by all of the geeks. Shay thinks Joshua is going to suck. The beauties remove their robes to reveal their itty bitty bikinis. The geeks are all smiles. The rules of the challenge are that each geek will take turns massaging each beauty for 3 minutes and the beauties will rate the massages. The geek with the highest rating wins. To make things fair, the beauties will be blindfolded and will wear headphones. Will feels very confident. Dave was using his “typewriter massage technique”. He thinks the girls will like it because his mother really likes it. Okay Dave. Enough with the mommy massaging comments! Jen and Natalie complain that there was a scratcher in the bunch. Sam says that it might have been better to be slapped on the back by a fish than to be massaged by some of the geeks. Joshua shows us his technique of circular motion that the beauties seemed to genuinely enjoy. After the scores are tallied, 3 geeks tie for second place. They are all just 1 point away from winning. The second place geeks are John, Joshua, and Will. The winner of the massage challenge is Jesse. Finally, King Will is dethroned! The general consensus is happiness that Will lost. Erin is so ecstatic that Jesse won. She says it makes her glow that Jesse was so happy. In case you care, my new favorites are Erin and Jesse.
After the challenge, Rebecca begins crying around that her team might be sent to the elimination room. Jesse tells her she won’t have to worry about it if she can win her challenge. Will decides to talk to Erin. She tells him that she was hurt and upset by his comments at the last elimination ceremony. He tells her that he won’t hold it against her if she chooses him for elimination, but he doesn’t really want to go home. Will decides that he needs to get into siege mentality. He is going to draw the drawbridge and prepare the defenses. In regular human terms, he is going to study in case he gets sent to the elimination room.
Just when I started to forget about Dave and his LARPing, what do I see? Dave and Will LARPing in the backyard. These 2 adult men are having a swordfight. Am I missing something here? Is this a secret fetish girls have? Dave doesn’t want Will to leave, as they are close friends in the house. The beauties begin studying for their challenges. Jasmine comments that reading has never been fun for her unless there are a lot of pictures. Nicole says that she hasn’t studied at all with Sam yet. Meanwhile, Sam is rubbing lotion all over his body. It rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again.
3, 2, 1…BlastoffCrash
In the cheesiest scene yet to date, the beauties are walking over a hill while Europe’s “The Final Countdown” plays in the background. They discover tables with rocket parts on them. Katie is nervous because she doesn’t think she’ll be any good at the challenge. Each beauty must assemble and launch his/her own rocket. Mike rambles on about how to put the rocket together, using big words that nobody understands. Sam is the first to put the rocket together, but messes up the launch. Shay puts her rocket together, but the fin blew off. Jasmine broke part of her rocket. Sam decides to try to put his rocket back together before the other beauties even launch for a first time. Rebecca and Sam are neck in neck, but ultimately, Sam launches first. Sam is the winner. More of Europe’s “The Final Countdown” ensues.
It’s almost time for the announcement of who is going to the elimination room. Rebecca mopes around because she knows that she and Will most likely will be one of teams selected. Sam tells Nicole that it’s important to keep Rebecca and Will in the game. Nicole thinks Rebecca needs to go. Sam wants to send Natalie and John, but Nicole doesn’t want to make more enemies. Nicole tells Sam that if he wants Rebecca to stay, they should send William and Jen into the elimination room because she knows Rebecca and Will can beat them. Nicole’s real idea; however, is that William and Jen are the only people who can beat Rebecca and Will. She wants Rebecca gone but doesn’t let on to Sam. Tricky tricky.
Have You Ever Been To The Planet Moon?
The couples assume position on the stairs for the announcement of who will be sent to the elimination room. Dave is looking particularly festive, sporting a black cape. Jesse and Erin choose Will and Rebecca for elimination because they are a very strong team. Sam and Nicole choose William and Jen. Sam has no reason. He says that he was hoping there would be a clear team to choose, but there wasn’t. Rebecca sobs that she doesn’t want to go home because she needs the change and wants to become a better person. Oh yeah, she likes Sam too. Everyone flocks to William and Jen to help them study while Rebecca bawls in the other room that nobody wants to be with her and help her. Jasmine tells her that people care about her, but Rebecca just cries. Shay tries to help her study, but Rebecca just cries. Sam rubs her neck, but Rebecca just cries. I’d cry too if Sam was touching me. I’d probably need a shower afterward as well.
Will/Rebecca and William/Jen enter the elimination room. Each team member will get to answer 2 questions. The beauties go first.
Question #1: The Glenn Research Center at NASA was named in honor of whom?
Jen’s answer: John Glenn

The winners are William and Jen! King Will and Busy Lips Becky have been eliminated! Rebecca says she feels mixed emotions, mainly about Sam. She thinks he put her and Will up against strong competitors for a reason. She feels that she might have gotten played. Will doesn’t think Sam set them up and he hopes Rebecca will eventually see that. Rebecca is glad that Will was her partner and she says she has learned not to judge a book by its cover. Will thinks the people aren’t the obstacles to the prize, they are the prize. Will tells Rebecca there isn’t anyone else he would have wanted as his partner. They hug and he kisses her hand. Ladies and gentlemen, the King has left the building!
In the previews for next week, the beauties become third grade teachers. The geeks get makeovers. There are some shots of haircuts and body waxings. Hooray! Tune in next week when the geeks bring sexy back!

to FORT, catontheweb! Yes, there's been a lot of suspicion about both Sam and his partner...if you click on their threads you'll see that people have been looking them up on imdb, etc.
