I think John and Luke will look really good. I think one of them is the "hidden hottie" of the show. And I can't wait to see what Shay does with Joshua. Also, I wonder how Sam will "make over" Nicole. She's got a nice figure, so of course he'll put her in some fashionable clothes, and with the right makeup.. . What will they do to her hair? Auburn highlights maybe? And it's going to be priceless seeing the other geeks reactions to her! I imagine the producers picked her knowing she will look really good after this!

Yeah, Nicole can clean up nicely I figure.

But Luke is SUCH a cutie already, he'll be super hot. John as well. And Jesse has a fairly good build, so I think he'll be attractive as well.

If only Josh was still here, sniff

I'm already lovin me some Jesse, I can't even imagine how I'll feel after the makeovers. lol! Luke has some potential too. I hope Nicole gets super hot.

I'm rewatching the preview bit from the end of the premiere, but I just noticed during the clips from a runway modeling challenge that Nicole isn't wearing her glasses! There doesn't appear to be much change to her hair, though.

Oops! Actually right after, when the host announces the Comicon bit and Will (his hair is red) is high-fiving the others, you see a clear shot of Nicole without her glasses.

I wish I could watch this frame by frame! XD

The two guys who will be the hottest are John and Luke. (Hmm, that sounds awfully biblical. Good thing I'm not including Joshua in this top group.)

With a haircut and better posture (he slouches too much), John could be pretty hot. And there's no denying the height works for him. There's a quote from Natalie in the preview--that I pray is not one of those deliberately edited and out-of-context teasers!--about someone being a really attractive man. If it turns out she's really referring to Sam then I'll scratch out my eyeballs (and she'll be next on my list to get eliminated).

Luke is already a very good-looking guy; a touch here or there, and some new duds, could put him over the top. The preview shows Katie fanning herself, so maybe that's in reaction to him.

I don't think much can be done with Dave (but Jasmine is shown being particularly ecstatic, so who knows). But you have to feel for the guy. I know the moans and groans, as he's getting waxed, are probably exaggerated (edited) for effect, but damn, that looks painful! Why couldn't they just use a razor? Or just leave him alone? I mean, a real man (i.e. pretty much anyone not Sam) is *supposed* to have chest hair, dammit!

Jesse. That's a real question mark to me. His hair is so short already I don't know what can be done with it. And he has to lose that wide-eyed deer-in-the-headlights look. And he has to opposite problem of John, in that his posture is too stiff. Tighter clothes to help show off his tone would help a lot.

Joshua can hope for cute, but I think that's about it. More stylish glasses would help (I think he has one of those faces that looks better with glasses than without).

Nicole has some real potential (but not as much as John or Luke). To me, she has a very wide mouth and unattractively thin lips, she needs to have a more open smile to compensate. But I predict she will definitely draw the eye of more of the geeks than just Dave. And sparks will fly if she last another week or two. (Can they change the rules and just have 1/2 a team be eliminated?? No? Darn!)

William? Forget it. Obviously new clothes will help, but he's got no hair to work with, and you can never get rid of that pinched-mouth look. (Let's be clear. This comment is *only* about the makeover. From what little can be gleaned of the little airtime he's had, he seems like a very funny, personable guy.)

Actually, no apology needed. Paul Rudd's "Man-o-Lantern" comment from "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" was one of the great lines from a movie packed with fabulous lines. Chest hair waxing is now part of the modern cultural landscape/vernacular, particularly for the socially inept.

And who knows? Some of these Geek contestants may well be on their way to becoming 40-year-old virgins. The chest hair waxing scenes worked in "Virgin" for the same reasons they will play brilliantly on tonight's show. You can't help but feel some sympathy for these poor guys.

Wait a minute. What did I just type? Steve Carell got to make out with Katherine Keener, and the Geeks are hanging out 24/7 with amazing young women.

Forget the sympathy!
