It's always brutal with the B'ette. I think the lead should speak first, whether it's the Bach or the B'ette. It's unnecessary cruelty.

I dont think anyone should be cut early Not the F3 or the F2, and its always brutal( well okay not brutal) uncomfortable , when they let someone go at this point .I don't think Emily would cut anyone early, because its the uncomfortable that a) many tune in to see and b) MF wont cut anyone, it would make it too short.(its all about the ratings) If she were allowed she would not have had Chris as her F4.

Its going to go he same way as the others, falling in love with 2 of them, unable to decide( tears) and then all we be in in lal la land for the finale.

I hear Sean has very nice ranch. I dont see why he has to open that up to the media or to us.I was happy seeing him with his family.

REF the comments upthread about the guys she says goodbye to not seeing it coming. While it is kind of cruel, if she didn't keep them all guessing, they would probably give up and either go home or stop investing in the relationship, which would be boring for the show. So, in a way, the premise of the show is that the sought after bachelorette strings along as many men as possible, sprinkling flattery and the hint of things to come if they are the lucky chosen ones.

Oh, and the guys may want to stay on there as long as possible too for whatever reason, even if they aren't that into the girl.

Someone please remind me. Who was the Bachelorette or Bachelor that made their final selection and the one they picked wasn't so into it? It's been years ago.

I think what the poster meant about letting them go early is let him go before he proposes. Ashley let Ben propose and it was awful to watch. If Emily stops it before it happens, then that would be a less cruel way. Em needs to either speak first or interrupt her F2 before he can get down on one knee.

Yes thanks Java, that is what I meant, or like Ali did, she let Chris L go early and didn't put him through the final rose ceremony

I thought they meant let them go early.Then when I read it again, it was to late , I had posted . I am not so sure it is her decision is it? I always thought MF decides how far to let them go?

I don't remember this. I know there have been some F1's who were pretty obviously not truly madly in love with the lead. Estella, Emily, that snowboarding dude that Deanna chose. Is that the kind of thing you mean, or are you talking about more of a "no, I will not accept the final rose"

Everyone is talking about who's the best match for Emily, who wants to be a father, relative maturity levels, level of income . . . have we completely discounted the notion that maybe Emily and Jef/Arie/Sean simply fell in love? (Personally, I've thought Jef was F1 since week one.) I might be a hopeless romantic, but I know it can happen just like in all the books and movies because it happened to me. Call it chemistry, or connection, or whatever, but it's something we wouldn't be able to see on screen.

I have a handyman doing some work on my house. Gorgeous guy, 31 years old, single, not very ambitious, does handyman work so he can ski all winter. Yesterday he was telling me that since he doesn't plan to get married or have kids, the pool of available females is very limited. All the girls his age want marriage and babies. I told him if he meets the right girl he could do a 180 flip-flop and suddenly propose and start cranking out kids. I guess what I'm trying to say is that it doesn't matter what your intentions are or what you THINK you want out of a partner or out of a relationship. When you meet the right one it all changes.
