    Doug - Bachelorette 8

    First Impression Rose Recipient

    Age: 33

    Occupation: Charity Director/Realtor

    Hometown: Seattle, WA

    Hometown: Seattle, WA

If you were stranded on a desert island what 3 things would you bring with you and why?
Salt water to fresh water kit, a fishing pole with appropriate lures and a flare gun with lots of flares

If you wanted to impress a woman what would you do and why?
Be there very time they needed me so that they know I was dependable. Not enough guys know how to take care of people anymore.

I hate it when my date:
Is hard to talk to or rude to people or only cares about superficial things.

    What's your best date memory?
A really long hug at the end of a first date with my ex. Neither one of us wanted to let the other go. It was nice.

    Tattoo Count:
    2

    Locations:
    Back and Ribs

Did anyone else think the letter from his kid was a tad (understatement) emotionally manipulative?

Hey, I said it was an understatement!

I thought the letter was a bit manipulative, but I honestly did like this guy. Jeez, at least he wasn't carrying an Ostrich Egg!

You're not talking the whole sleepless in seattle vibe, are you?

He didn't impress me at all. I found him off putting.

Me too, for some odd reason. I didn't find him that interesting and I felt he was too eager to push the kid connection. It felt forced to me for some reason.

It was forced. I do not believe it was his son's idea to write that letter. Superficial I know but his looks are a turn off, as well.

I like his looks, except for the eyebrows, but I don't like the ones who come bearing gifts or letters. I doubt his 11 year old son wanted to write a letter to some strange woman his father is trying to impress.
