His talk with Emily about being attached to his previous lover's children did not read genuine to me. He was saying things he thought would score with her. I could see in her face she was alarmed. It brought forward the fear of Ricki getting attached to a man and then have the relationship fizzle. That can happen with anyone, of course, but it made her uneasy thinking about it. They probably lived together since it lasted 6 years. Another thing she will not do. She will rent a place in the same town and they will take it very slowly.

I don't see them together. I can see him as the next Bachelor though.

There's a really cute video on the ABC Bachelorette site that's called Uncensored - Muscles. It shows Arie has a self-deprecating sense of humor which I love. If nothing else he doesn't seem to take himself too seriously unlike someone like Ryan.

I saw that video with Arie, Doug and Sean measuring their biceps too. It was very cute, and I think that it was all done in fun. It actually made me like Arie even more for his self-deprecating sense of humor. I even imagined it was Arie who challenged Doug and Sean to see who has the bigger biceps. Then he joined in on the contest himself!! And Arie and those two guys seem to be getting along quite well together, which I like to see. I wish that they would include more scenes like this on the show.

I really did not think Arie was that attractive until I saw his personality. I like his personality so far quite a bit.

I find Arie very attractive but he's my type. I'm not much for the muscles and tend to like the tall, slim guys with a good sense of humor & nice eyes of course. Arie fits the bill.

I really try not to search people on the internet also because I don't really care all that much about their past. I tend to judge what I'm seeing on the show and what I see of Arie I like. It's up to Emily to decide if he's for her.
