To me all it means is that he is pretty. He is not handsome, but pretty.

He's slight of build but he could still be handsome IMO, but instead he's pretty.

They showed Arie shaving, then later on I noticed what looked like sores along his left jawline. Maybe he cut himself shaving.

He had them a down his face onto his neck last week.They look like pimples, or blisters.Maybe they are hives and he's nervous.

My TV isn't a large screen TV, and isn't high definition, but the sores or blisters were clearly visible. While I was looking at them, Emily kissed Arie and put her right hand on the sores.
