I had a hard time listening to the interview too. Did you notice, I think his friends said he is "quick on his feet," however there were lots of long pauses and he sounded distracted at times, like he was doing something else at the same time he was talking to the interviewer.

He sounded like he'd just run up three flights of stairs to get the phone. But he sounded that way throughout the whole interview.

Something weird there, can't quite put my finger on it.

Where is the tabloid story that claims they broke up? She is quoted referring to it, but I've never seen it.

I think it was Philly FOx or something like that, the night they postponed their dinner reservation in Vegas. There was a report that they broke up, but clearly it was false.

Yeah it was and that article is still up. Fox LA retracted theirs days ago. Someone is probably just trying to stir the hornets' nest by keeping only the Fox Philly one up.

Thanks for all the insight from those of you who have watched the show for many seasons.

1st Question: How long is the couple obligated to stay together by the contract in order to get the full financial reward? Jillian at this point is unemployed, so I could see that the paycheck could be pulling her to stay with Ed and not give up even through these rocky times.

2nd Question: I can see that TP do all they can to keep the stars in the news from one season to the next. How do you think TP might specifically be manipulating publicity at this point?

Hang on...there's a financial reward if you stay together for a pre-determined length of time?? I don't remember hearing about this. I know some got trips or gifts (a tent! ha!) but who says there is $$$ at the end if you remain a couple?

I'm sure if it sold magazines they sure would. It is a hot story right now so maybe.
