I don't know that it discredits him or anything. I read somewhere else on this board that Jake and Kip also have acting credits. Then there's Wes, the one-song wonder. :wow
He has no IMBD page. If you google him there are no acting credits. His late father was an actor, but 35 is a little old to not have any of those things . He may have been approached after he did the show. He is a general contractor in California which has been hit hard by the economic downturn. He may have some time on his hands to give acting a go.Quote:

Even though Juan has frequently and annoyingly interrupted Reid's alone time with Jillian, there's certainly no conflict between the two. When Juan discussed his alone time with her, Reid listened with complete and undivided attention. Reid seams to understand Juan's personality and is completely comfortable around him.
It reminds me of the off-screen friendliness between Ryan and "bad boy" Russ in season 1. Then again, both Russ and Charlie liked Ryan a lot... even though Trista dumped both of them for Ryan. Heck, EVERYBODY liked Ryan Sutter!
Of course, if Kiptyn was sitting there, he'd be doing the same. Again, no noticeable conflict with Juan.
It was humorous seeing both Kip and Reid sitting together during Tanner's "I'm just a basic guy from Dallas" speech, nodding their heads in unison. Some of their conversations were probably edited, but I think both encouraged Tanner to seek alone time with Jillian while he had the chance.
The easy explanation may be that both Kip and Reid KNOW they're safe for another rose ceremony... thus, Juan and Tanner are not seen as threats. However, I truly think all four get along quite well with each other.
He is probably listed as "actor" because of his appearance on The Bachelorette.Quote:

I still think he looks like he could be one of VP Biden's relatives. I think it's around the nose and mouth, mostly.
I think his momma raised him well! Compare him to Dave ... and it's Dave that's the problem, not Juan ... I wouldn't trust Dave not to be abusive to women. He's a hothead narcissist who flies off the handle over absolutely nothing. Dave is off the deep end if you ask me, and should have been escorted off the show by a couple of burly security guards the first time he mentioned tying Juan to a tree and beating him.Quote:

I doubt that Juan's identification as an actor on that website amounts to anything. The show made no attempt to hide that Wes is an aspiring country music star, so if Juan is an actor, I doubt they would hide it. In fact, it would probably add the kind of drama the show wants by having Jillian wonder whether he was there for her or his career, and the other guys would be bringing it up to try to discredit him, too. I see no reason so far to believe Juan is anything less than sincere about his interest in Jillian. He is so focused on winning her over that he does not participate in the childish shenanigans of many of the other men. I like his maturity and focus.
The Bachelor Juan has a father also named Juan and his father is an actor. I found several references on Internet about his father, but none about the Bachelor Juan being an actor. If someone has the URL where the son Juan is listed as an actor, I would be interested in seeing it.Quote:

Hey Moondust! Rags posted the link above (I'm not sure if my copy/paste will work but her post is a few up on this page) He is in the second row of photos, 4th and 5th over I think.
I love how Juan is treating Jilli, I love a well spoken gentleman. :nod:nod
ITA. I thought it was odd that Jillian pointed out (to Juan) that she loved how he always stood when she walked into the room...until all the guys stood at one point last episode and Chris said "nice to see you all stand when a lady walks in the room."Quote:
