Agreed. Weird but could end up being very telling. Maybe she knows about Spain and as long as it doesn't extend from proposal date of 5/24 on Ed's covered. I believe it was picked up by a lot of the media and repeated in the blogs and forums but if you read the transcript of the conference call, Ed actually said "our normal relationship started on the day I proposed." That's an important distinction I think. Their love started and grew during the filming of the show and was definitely real to them, but they were both mature and sensible enough to know that it wasn't a normal situation.
Jillian also said in that teleconference that she was "so worried after all of this that I would wake up after the proposal and go like, okay, when are -- when is he going to start saying things that worry me? Right? And there's just been nothing. Like every -- I feel like every day we spend together and everything that comes out of his mouth, it makes me fall in love with him even more and more." So their "normal" relationship has blossomed and grown which is really quite remarkable.

I respect that you aren't willing to say what your sources are. I have done so in the past. I was just trying to keep straight of who knew what and how they knew.
I thought someone on here had said they saw the texts - is that correct or is there no one who has actually seen the texts in question?
Here's a cute story about Jillian and Ed after they did the Regis and Kelly show:
"I met both Jillian and Ed on Wednesday at the set of GMA. I read some of the stuff said about them and I must tell you , those two are very positive people. Further more that are very much in love and you could see it as soon as they walk into the room. I get out of work at 7:30am and I ran over to the GMA studio which was a couple of blocks away. They came on about 8:15 am and there piece was finished quickly. I could not see them that well because they had a pink curtain blocking the window at the studio but, I wait for them along with about 30 or so people when they came out of the studio doors. They are terrific looking, Jillian is tiny and great looking, Ed is tall and very thin they have such a beautiful way about them like they are on the same wave length. I could see why all those men when crazy for her. She was spunky, charming, exciting, and just a great big ball of energy. Ed was quiet and very much into her, he could not take his eyes off of her. Jillian came into the crowd and took pictures and gave some autographs. What I noticed about Jillian was that she is someone who flys by the seat of her pants but Ed is her anchor. They both are madly in love with each other and all that stuff you hear about them is just crap. I was treated well by them and all the people who were waiting outside the studio doors. I wished them well and Jillian said thank you."
I like that phrase "Ed is her anchor". While she's buzzing around being all spunky and bubbly, Ed just watches lovingly with a bit of a grin on his face. I saw that quite a bit on various interviews too. He seems to get such a kick out of her vivaciousness and they share so many laughs with each other. I just luv this couple.
I believe Jill is happy and all is good from her beaming interviews and pictures but how can this lady psychoanalyze them 2 minutes after seeing them? Is she a body language expert or a psychologist?
I'm assuming she made a bit of an educated guess by observing that Jillian dove right into the crowd and Ed stood back and watched her (with a smile on his face). It's actually quite easy for other people to be able to tell by looking at a couple whether it's an honest true love rather than just kissy-face show off love. I spotted that right away on ATFR. Jilly and Ed didn't snuggle into each other and practically sit on each other's lap and giggle and coo like so many other couples have done, but their connection and affection was immediately apparent. You can just tell what's real and what's for show.

Almost every person who comments about the show on message boards is guilty of using heavily edited television footage to 'analyze' reality tv contestants. I take this with the same grain of salt.
