| Re: Bachelorette 4 New Media Update thread I saw yesterday on Deanna and Jesse's myspace page that they now have a manager and a publicist.Maybe this explains all the time they have been spending in LA.It appears they have some major deals being offered to them. |

| Re: Bachelorette 4 New Media Update thread According to Astrochicks.com Deanna and Jesse are in final negotiations to televise their wedding. Last I heard the duo wanted $3 million from ABC for the honor. They can go a long time on that amount without working. They speculate that Brad Womack will give the bride away but really .... Chris Harrison is more likely ![]()

| Re: Bachelorette 4 New Media Update thread If anyone is interested in hearing last night's Stardish Radio interview with Jesse and DeAnna, visit stardishradio.com and click the link to Blog Spot Radio. The interview can be played from the site or downloaded. It went incredibly well and the chatroom actually maxed out at 200 visitors and there were so many callers on hold waiting to ask questions that the switchboard locked up. We heard a lot of new info ('cause we ask such good questions!) and they were awesome! Jo Ann, the host, said it was the most traffic ever and she wants to have them back before the wedding. Future shows that may be of interest: 9.10.08 Chrishelle Stausse @ 10 pm est 9.12.08 Bob Guiney & Eden Riegel @ 10:30 pm est Enjoy! |

| Re: Bachelorette 4 New Media Update thread Thank you, tawneej, for the radio interview link. It was great to hear how they are doing and the questions were more interesting coming from fans. I loved the shout-out to K9Mom (Doris) who has been an avid DeAnna supporter since the beginning of Brad's season and has continued with the upkeep of her fansite on MySpace.

| Re: Bachelorette 4 New Media Update thread Woo-hoo....that made my night Arielflies!! I couldn't believe my ears! (Congrats on Memphis's POV win last night) I'm sorry that I see so many being cynical about DeAnna and Jesse being "real". There is nothing I can do to convince anyone, nor would I waste my time trying. I've met them twice now and I know that they are the real deal. There is a great (old) interview up from when they were in Breckinridge (google "Sunrise Summit") in it DeAnna explains a bit about how she was surprised herself by what she thought she wanted, and what she realized she actually wanted and needed in a man. I remember lots of Jason supporters being vocal when De cut Graham - talking about how great it was that she realized that Graham may have been her type that she always dated, but that she now realized that those types never worked out for her......well, that is exactly what happened to her....except she realized that Jesse was the right one for her. I will never look at this show with the same eyes again...or any reality show for that matter. There is far more manipulation of footage and coaxing going on than anyone realizes. The producers got what they wanted by having America fall in love with Jason and Ty....it was purposefully designed to be that way IMO...this keeps the series going strong. BTW, The Bachelorette was the number 1 show for the entire summer! I hope all my friends at Fort are doing well and I can't wait for January and Jason's turn at love! |

The shout-out to you was sweet in that interview, and sincere. In the days right after Bach 11 debacle aired, you made a difference with your support. Isn't that great! Real life connections that matter ! I happen to agree with you 100% that Jason was edited to be a much stronger connection, just like Jenni. Had Jenni not gotten engaged to Russell almost instantly upon her arrival, I think she would have been offered the opportunity to be Bach-ette. She got that edit. Deanna did not . Happily, fate intervened and both girls now have their man. Once firmly vested in their own version of a Happy Ending, people still want to believe that "what happened" is "what aired" even though all season long they post about "evil Fleiss" (who does no editing, to state the obvious) and the power of the edit, etc. In Message Board Land, it seems to me the bias is often a function of "insider" (read: internet "friendship") connections. It can turn the sparest crust of bread into ... ummm ... a Picnic! (They should have an emoticon for beating a dead horse, sorry.) Anyway, K9Mom, Kudos for turning the energy of an internet fan group into something that mattered in the real world. | |

| Re: Bachelorette 4 New Media Update thread That was such a fun interview to listen too! It was great to hear fans get to call in and talk with DeAnna and Jesse. Just like Graham's interview I could tell that their fans were so excited about getting to talk to people that they have come to "know". It was so fantastic as well to hear K9Mom and Tawnee get a mention, as like a couple of the Graham and Jeremy fans they have taken an active role in supporting DeAnna and Jesse and it's great to hear that DeAnna and Jesse really do appreciate them. And K9Mom and jlccaz I agree with both of your posts, and really while I think it's fun to harp on Fleiss and the editing in some ways they actually are genius. They keep us tuning in show, after show, after show. Like the ending or not, like the edit or not, like the characters or not, we still come back for more. And I for one love it. |

| Re: Bachelorette 4 New Media Update thread i have been away from the Fort for a loOng time. I just downloaded and watched The Bachelorette in 2 straight days. It sucks when you are a non-US resident and you cant watch the show online. Hence, I cannot begin to tell HOW shocked i am with how the show unfolded. I watched the Finale just a few hours ago so you must understand how stumped i am. i misunderstood my american friends when they were discussing the show. i was reading alot of "Jeremy and Jason" Well, i did see a "Jesse and Graham" BUT i read past it because i thought they were spoilers. And boy did i think Jeremy won. So all throughout my watching the downloaded show i "warmed up" to Jeremy. He was a lil cocky but he grew on me especially the bond "we have". i,too, lost my dad in 2003 (i was with him til his last breath) and brother in 2006. Since i just watched it just a few hours ago only, please understand the shock i am having! Sadly, i dont have the Forters to comfort me! haha. Oh, cant he be the next Bachelor? And i agree with a lot of posts above ^^^, i will continue to be the supporter of De. i trust her decision. I quote Maid of Honor in saying that Jeremy is "the perfect guy" but not the "perfect guy for De". As for Jesse, i am "marinating" him in my mind. i will be used to Jesse . . . in time. haha. Thanks for the radio interview. i will download it and listen to it for future references. P.S. Are there any updates on who will be the next Bachelor or Bachelorette?
