JMHO, of course.

But all in all, even if she IS pulling a "Brad", I think it's fair. Just like pulling "a Jen". If true love isn't found, you shouldn't fake it (like the football player did with the plane ticket!)... his was a majorly transparent cop-out. It's better to be honest, than to be fake.

In this season, it's more accurate to say Deanna is pulling "a Bob". She is kissing EVERYONE. How is that gonna make the F1 feel, to see date after date and kiss after kiss with many other men?

Probably I am old-fashioned, but seeing someone kiss SO MANY other people seems like objectifying every one of them. And if I was the final guy, I would feel like somewhat of an object myself, at that point.

I must have missed something... DeAnna kissed Jason, Graham, Jeremy and Sean so far (if you can call that a kiss with Sean ). Jesse is still in the game and hasn't been kissed yet, but it could happen. That would be five guys...
One of the few things everybody respected about Brad was that he didn't go kiss all the girls. He kissed DeAnna, Jenni, Bettina, Sheena and Hilary. That's five girls... Now maybe some people see things differently with a woman versus a man being the one who does all the kissing, but you compared her to Bob. I don't even remember how many girls he kissed, but it was a lot. Matt I think kissed eight of them. I don't have a problem with the Bachelor/ette kissing people on the one-on-one dates, and DeDe didn't even kiss all of those.

Well, I think if somebody's going to feel like an object for that reason then they'd really better not go on the show.

The idea is that you're dating all these people seriously in an attempt to find the one/ones you're most serious about, right? So seems to me you're kind of stuck (happily so, maybe?!) with kissing at least several. If you don't kiss them, then are you actually *seriously* dating? And if you decide you're only going to kiss one or two, then aren't you either a)telegraphing the ending completely -- which is contrary to what the producers want or b) or really only seriously giving a chance to a couple of people (the ones you kiss) -- which also is contrary to the whole point of the show or c)kissing people who *aren't* your final choice while missing the one who is, which wouldn't make him/her feel very good?

It's really just a grown-up game of spin the bottle, it seems to me. So kissing -- eh, what's the big deal? And if one feels that kissing really is that big of a deal, then it really isn't the show for that person.

I love Deanna, have since we first met her. She truly deserves her happy ending. I have all the faith in the world in her that she found her soulmate during this show. Its obvious, just how happy she is tells it ALL. I'm excited for her and cant wait to see Deanna get her fairytale ending in the finale! Its something America will be cheering to see on July 7th!

I wonder if... Brad really did care about her and liked many things about her but he had misgivings. We've all been there. Some people pretend those feelings aren't there and shoo them away. Some people choose to ignore them. And then there are those that think the situation can be changed or will change on its own-often magically. But Brad's gut told him otherwise. He was probably sincere to a point but he just could not get around whatever was troubling him. I think the public has been far too harsh on him. We don't know what he was struggling with. Nor are we owed an explanation.

Re: DeAnna Pappas - Bachelorette 4 (Part 2)

Meowza! I hoped that Deanna didn't choose Jesse. But she did. And she's very happy. So what more is there to say.

I think she passed up two incredibly wonderful gentlemen in Jeremy and Jason. But if she was not "in love" with them, then it was better that she be honest about that rather than lead them on to a breakup or cancelled wedding.

I just wonder what was going on in her head. As Jason asked on the after show, I think that Deanna came into the show looking for one type of guy. And she found two of them. But she came across Jesse who was unlike anyone else she dated and she fell for him.

I really hope that Deanna and Jesse are as happy as they appear to be. I still do not see Jesse ready to marry, and have 3 children in the next 4 years. That is a huge change to his life. He wasn't sure about getting into a marriage situation at the beginning and I don't think he's at the same level as Jeremy and Jason were, where settling down and having a family was the right time. I think that Jesse got caught up in the show and time will tell if he will slow things down once they have married. He has to have a big career change in order to afford all that Deanna will need with a family. Deanna will be wearing the pants in this relationship.

I wish them well. Time will tell.

Re: DeAnna Pappas - Bachelorette 4 (Part 2)

I think we are all so accustomed to "having our say" in reality TV (call in and vote) that we get pretty upset that our favorite isn't chosen and we had no say in it!! It is Deanna who has to live with her choices, and I guess that, whether we like her choice or not, we have to respect that. I will admit that the woman I saw last night seemed very "forced" and "over the top", not like the Deanna we have seen in the past. It just seemed kind of odd to me.

Re: DeAnna Pappas - Bachelorette 4 (Part 2)

I wanted to add that I thought it was very honest of Deanna to have admitted that she finally now knows how Brad felt; that although she had everything he said he was looking for, he wasn't in love with her and couldn't propose. Finally, Brad's decision and character have been redeemed by the one person who did not understand his rejection and felt he set out to betray her. It's amazing what happens when the shoe is on the other foot.

I hope that this gives Brad some comfort knowing that he is no longer the Bain of Deanna's existence, that she understands why he couldn't propose, and that he can go forward in his life.

Ditto. The Brad lynching has always intrigued me. The guy just didn't deserve it, but the hatred abounded. But let's be real, it wasn't just DeAnna. It takes a mob, and between her supporters and the show producers, they got him good. I can appreciate that DeAnna now understands she's no different than Brad. But I doubt we'll hear that kind of humility from most of her venomous supporters.
