Long time lurker. I rarely post but I just wanted to add my 2 cents because I think Deanna is a wonderful bachelorette. I like her refreshing upfront honesty and after all the break ups from this show I think it will be interesting to see if her forthrightness and seriousness will (I hope, I hope) find her the man of her dreams. She had a hard time last week telling 3 men you are not the one and that tells me what a nice person she is. I am loving this season!

Surprised that nobody mentioned it, but DeAnna looked positively pregnant in the dress she wore this week. OMG, seriously did she realize she looked like that? Why wouldn't the producers have told her? She did misplace the girdle? Hasn't she been doing sit-ups in preparation for national TV? I really don't know what to say other than if you have a gut that big, you SHOULD NOT WEAR A FORM-FITTING dress. tsk tsk.

This episode made the season really unbelievable for me. Just exactly what are these guys vying for, anyway? If you asked them that question, what would they say?

Somebody get DeAnna a personal trainer, somebody fix Jason up with a sweet girl, somebody get Jesse a harem of girls to parade around the ski hill, and get the rest of the guys a WalMart gift card and let them be on their way. Show us a real cast of real people looking for real love.

I do find it interesting that Brad keeps coming up on the weekly footage. And also interesting that TPTB have really laid blame on Brad for not choosing someone when Jen did the identical thing a few years ago.

I remember the date that Rattus is referring to, where I thought OMG this relationship has just taken a quick turn... And I'm kinda curious how DeAnna went from being a demanding contestant (with Brad)to the star of a new season? Did she make some demand from the producers, too, and that's how she got where she is today?

One thing is for certain... she is definitely in it for the right reasons! She wants marriage!

Ellen is probably the one who is mainly responsible for DeAnna being the Bachelorette. She suggested it to ABC.
Also many fans sent letters to ABC nominating DeAnna... some of us really big fans actually did a peach campaign, sending cans of peaches to ABC with the nominations, with the suggestion to donate the peaches to the homeless (it was right around Christmas I think). So it's not like DeDe had to beg ABC to ask her

Even though DeAnna is still young at 26. I'm still surprised that someone so beautiful with a great personality who wants to be married is still single. Makes me think that something might be a little off.

I didn't care for DeAnna in the Bachelor season, and, after watching only 30 seconds of last night's show, I like her even less in her season.

I really enjoyed DeAnna on the Bachelor and wanted Brad to pick her in the end. Although now I am very glad he didn't. I am enjoying her journey at the Bachelorette.
She is going thru this process with a good heart and a strong outlook on what she is looking for. Since she has been thru this before and left broken hearted, I find that she is very careful with the guys and she knows she will hurt them but I am very glad to see that she doesn't mince words with them or give them false hope. When she let Richard go, I was sad for him but glad that she didn't keep him any longer than she did. She is being honest with the guys and letting them know that she thinks they are great guys but that they just aren't right for her. Maybe if she had more time, she could explore more the great guys like Fred or Richard but she doesn't and she knows it. I think she's being smart about it and whether the audience likes it or not, its her future.
I know she'll move on from Graham but if she feels something stronger for him, she needs to give him a chance. Personally, I think she's a strong woman who knows her own mind and if that's perceived as controlling - so be it! Good for her!! Keep it up DeAnna!!
