I dont have the link, but it was an interview right after the show aired. If you google it, I am sure you can find it. He said he wish ABC would have showed more of the proposal, cause he was down there alot longer than they showed. I didn't watch the Adam show, so have no idea what that is all about. I think the fan favorite has more to do who we each connect with. There is alot of Graham and Jeremy fans also, and for me at first I was not a big fan. However, the more I read and hear about them, the more I like them, and respect them as a person. To me it has nothing to do about her not picking my favorite. I am not the one that has to live with the choice. However, it is my right not to like the actions of somebody and how they represent themselves. I dont like the fact that she (and the producers) had Jason get on one knee and propose. That is the problem I have with DeAnna. If Jeremy is the bachelor, I will wish him the best, and hope he finds love, and the best choice for him. I certainly wouldn't find pleasure in being snarky with his every move. I want one of these bachelor couples to make it to the altar, not wait for them to fall with glee.

| Re: Jason - Bachelorette 4 Hmmm....still no link or real proof that Jason was "down there" that long... the fan favorite has more to do with who the producers decide you should connect to... Editing does wonders.. Adam was on a show called Average Joe...I have watched just about every dating show since they started many moons ago...I am now pretty "jaded" on them but still enjoy them... Just the way soap opera fans "accept" the fact that characters can age overnight, get younger, or be replaced by a new actor I think reality fans have to "accept" that on dating shows the "fan favorite" might not be the one the "bach/ette" decides they want to love/live with/sleep with Having favorites on "talent shows" is a different thing...we can "objectively" state our preference...but when it comes to matters of the heart I think it is hard to reconcile the "fan fav" with who they pick Slanting and editing has so much to do with it : just imagine...IF the producers had used a phone call with Ty whining or crying "when are you coming home daddy, I miss you" and had replayed this a lot....IF they had shown the ex wife or the fancy super romantic wedding they had...people might have felt differently. They could have even portrayed Jason as "on the rebound" and too anxious to find a replacement...after all he was only divorced one year I remember other shows where a "single parent" was berated for leaving their kiddo at home ....that was the editorial slant. For those who keep watching these shows, like me, sometimes watching the editorial slant and the "predictable" reactions become interesting in and of themselves LOL. You say there are a "lot of Jeremy and Graham fans" and I guess you are a Jason fan....however apparently DeAnna did not fall in love with any of them....so why be angry at her for that?? Seems to me that you can be a fan of them without hating on De and Jesse?? As for "snarking" on them....history repeats itself. That is why I have repeated the Adam story.. or look at Bob Guinney...much loved during Trista's season, he went on to be one of the most hated bachs of all time....DeAnna herself was "loved" and people wanted her as the Bachelorette I do maintain that the producers set up these impossible situations and slant the editing, otherwise why not just stop filming after the first few weeks when the "one" decides who they like?? or stop filming during home visits if they decide then or whatever? I think you mistake a "fan favorite" on a love show with a "fan fav" on a talent show. My guess is that Jeremy...or Jason....will be edited in a different way if they are the new bachelor...they may not pick the girl that the editors portray in the favorable way (who then becomes the fan fav). Again, from watching many seasons of this and similar shows, I will repeat the fact that the "most despised" ones are the "retreads/repeaters" |

A moment with ... Jason Mesnick, 'The Bachelorette's' jilted suitor estygal, I don't have a link for this either, but I saw the interview that Jason had with Elyssa Jaffe of KOMO 4 News (Ch. 4 here in Seattle). They were sitting at a park table at the same park in Bellevue where Jason introduced DeAnna to Ty. This was on our 5:00PM news broadcast. He says basically the same thing as the above interview and also states he felt disrespected by this.

| Re: Jason - Bachelorette 4 I just want to say something.... Whether jason said it in an interview in writing or on air, HE SAID IT. so we must believe it to be true. Deanna never said he did NOT do it, so those who are trying to spin this are being ridiculous. Jason is not going to say he did something just for the hell of it. IMO He also said it on the ATRC how he felt disrespected, but also on the interview with the seattle sports guys. He said, it was edited like she pulled me right up, but I was down there for a while, and I wish they showed more of that. He obviously has nothing to hide for his character is of integrity and honesty, for all we know. Until proven differently, I will say, I believe what he said. I am getting sick of reading all of this crap about him, "NOT being too upset in the limo, so it must be his interview for the bachelor" good grief. We see the grief all over his face, and that is much more than a fake tear anyone can cry. IMO |

| Re: Jason - Bachelorette 4 Jason did say he was down there a long time. DeDe even said it at the AFRC, where Jason asked her the question and she said she was caught up in the moment, and they were talking (These are DeAnna's words). IF you go and read Jason's conference call and his interviews, he explains that they were hugging, kissing and talking before he went down on his knee and yes he did say he was down there a long time which where he feels betrayed by DeAnna. We can't post it on here, since we are not allowed to post web links. |

Jason was very upset it was certainly written all over his face. DeAnna did in fact say on the AFRC that she let him propose because "she got caught in the moment" Nice try but I am not buying that De.

| Re: Jason - Bachelorette 4 Hmm.....here is the quote :"On what TV viewers may have missed: The whole (marriage) proposal. The show made it look like I got down on my knee and she brought me right back up. I talked to her for a while down there. It was a lot longer of a process. I felt disrespected (by DeAnna). That is something I would never do to anybody. I wish they showed more of that moment. On whether he and Pappas have had any contact since the show ended: We've talked since the finale, and we plan on staying friends." Hmmm.....well he still calls it a "moment"....while I do think that he may have embraced her and/or spoken to her before going down on one knee, I doubt he was down there long...she clearly is seen pulling him up She may have been taken off guard by his eagerness...one has to wonder how and why he would even need to say this to an interviewer and try to make DeAnna look bad months later anyhow??? Really the way the end ceremony is set up is so much due to the producers...and hey maybe he jumped the gun and she was flustered...who knows...??? Hardly the worst thing in the world....heck his own wife, mother of their child, who he proposed to in a Balloon apparently cheated on him. [mod edit] I can ONLY imgagine how Ty might bond with one gal while dad is attracted to another...."he should have picked xxy cause Ty and she bonded" etc.... I really question why anyone would "want" someone they admired to subject themselves to this fishbowl/ridicule of being a retread on this show??? Seems they have a lot of women vying for them now, Jason, Jeremy, Graham....why not have a new bachelor? NEW drama?? |

I don't want to see any of these great men go back on this show and be Fleissed. I am certain they can all do better in their normal lives then beng manipulated by Fleiss and his minions. As for the proposal, well if you go back and watch the AFRC Jason askes DeAnna point blank "why did you let me get down on one knee and propose"? De's response " I guess I got caught up in the moment". Yes Jason was shown as being brought up rather quickly, but editing is a huge factor in making this show what it is. If this had been shown in full, then DeAnna would have looked pretty bad for not stopping him sooner. Her allowing Jason to do so was a bad choice. I know some say that Jason was too eager around De, well looking at things a little differently maybe De was eager to have her proposal at the end. The way that De handled certain situations and treated some of these men, she certainly didn't come off smelling like a rose, but came off as more of a thorn from a rose. IMO of course.

| Re: Jason - Bachelorette 4 The right thing to do would have been to never let it get to that point! If she had taken control of the situation, and had a speech for him as Trista did, he would never have gotten to his knee and proposed, and she wouldn't be so disliked.
