Estella, you put this incredibly well! I couldn't agree with you more, espcially about the bolded part!

DeAnna is a very strong person, but even a strong person needs a shoulder to lean on sometimes. Jason can give her just that. Probably for the first time in her adult life, she feels safe to let her guard down. She talks about her feelings. She trusts him, and that is HUGE for her. Jason trusts her as well. He wants to be there for her, but also wants her to be there for him.
With Jeremy, I don't see their relationship as 50/50. He invests a lot more. He opens up quite a bit with her, but we don't see her open up. Many of us saw her pull back a bit on their date last week. I think (and others have stated that too) Jeremy and DeAnna are quite similar in some ways (having lost someone very important to them and always being strong for others) and Jeremy needs a female Jason imo.

Parasol, great post! ITA on all counts and can vouch for the soundness of these observations from experiences in my own life. Jason is the only one of hte final three right for De, IMO.

Often with orphans, they will seek 'instant intimacy', in order to regain what is lost, but all too often this is a dangerous course of action. Graham illustrates the perfect dynamic of style but no substance. DeAnna was desperately trying to make him into something he was not, because she had chosen him as the one she wished for. Perhaps Graham understood what was going on and did the honest thing by bowing out gracefully. That leaves Jeremy and Jason. Both have their strong points to be sure. But what gives Jason the edge, as I see it, is that he would make an emotionally stable partner that would incite feelings of security in DeAnna. When she recognizes that she can actually depend on someone like him, then she can release her fears of abandonment and some of the behaviours that are not especially helpful that come with that package. (Dear, sweet Jeremy needs to find a 'Jason' of his own-it would be a sad mistake if they were to pair up. One of them needs to be the rock of Gibraltar)

I doubt she'll be able to pick either one of them out of a lineup after the fantasy suite night with Jason.

I saw some of her posts. I think only a handful (or less) were about the Bachelorette Season and the rest about the Bachelor London season.

Is it Monday yet?! :

Friends! Wow feels great to read string after string of positive DeJay post after reading so many other ones.

I just want to chime in that ITA and saw the DeJay connection from their first encounter.

And, what a wonderful, down to earth family that Jason has. De has truly found her soulmate in Jason and what luck to have such a family to become a part of.

And, had to say that Ty was sooooooooooooooooooooo sweet and well adjusted. You can tell he gets lots of attention and love. For a three year old boy he was very even keeled (speaking from experienced).

It broke my heart though when he had to say goodbye to his daddy. They are obviously very close and he seemed to think that his daddy was going to be gone for a long time again even though he tried to assure him that he was only going to be a few hours. Such a sweet little boy and such a sweet daddy! It totally made me watching that!

I'll have to go back and take a look, I didn't notice the mezuzah. But Jason did mention his mother makes the best cheeseburgers-not exactly a kosher food. I have a feeling they look at being Jewish as part of their heritage, but don't follow much of the laws and customs. Like any couple, something they will have to talk about.
