Re: Jesse - Bachelorette 4 Thanks Parasolpink for finally saying what I have been thinking. There are so many rumors going around about Jesse and his GF, who knows what to believe. I am not letting that jade my thinking. When Jesse first stepped out of the limo, I thought "oh no" what a goof. But as the show has progessed he has really grown on me. He is not someone I would normally be attracted to but I just can't stop smiling by all of his actions and phrases. He is so not the norm which is so refreshing. He was the one with the insight when all the other guys were going on dates with D and he was always playing devil's advocate. How many other guys were doing that? I think he has a great "read" on D and although I don't think she picks him, he has been fun to watch. JMO, but I think he is going to make a great marriage partner and a fabulous dad. Loved, loved, loved his mom and dad. So cute.

A lot's in the eye of the beholder, though. I have had exactly the opposite response to Jesse (well, except for his mom and dad -- loved them). But he's exactly the kind of guy that *does* appeal to me, so I was really disposed to like him a lot at first. Then when he started interacting more with DeAnna, I found that every single thing he said to her sounded completely phony to me (unlike the stuff he said when he was among the guys, where I found his words to ring true and be smart and relevant and such). ... I can't put my finger on what is wrong for me in the way he talks to DeAnna (or about her in an interview), but I have yet to believe a single word of it, and it actually makes me kind of nauseated, quite the opposite from the way I expected to feel about Jesse, since I like his "type" generally and I continue to enjoy him when he's hanging out with the guys. I'm very intrigued about how it will go down in the end, and whether I'll ever find out whether he's the cool guy I expected him to be or the complete phony-baloney that I keep seeing say he is really into DeAnna while looking to me as if he has absolutely zero interest in her in any way shape or form. | |

Re: Jesse - Bachelorette 4 Jesse says in the HTD "Have you ever been on a horse and carriage ride?" D responds, "Can I say no?" So, I was watching the MADE MTV videos on YouTube where Jesse is teaching a girl named Tara to snowboard. Tara gets the hots for a kid she meets on the slopes and they go on a date. The kid asks Tara the same thing about ever being in a horse carriage. My conclusion is Jesse is getting his dating tips from a 16 year kid!!! Go watch the videos, it's so funny!

Re: Jesse - Bachelorette 4 Here's my take on Jesse and his possible match with Deanna: He is only 25ish and a young 25 at that. He is an only child and probably spoiled. His mom and dad are salt-of-the-earth people who waited a long time to have Jesse (the little prince in their lives). His choice of profession is seasonal so what does he do the rest of the time? He is eccentric (not a bad thing and rather appealing), but is also has a bit of OCD (not a good thing). While he is cute, colorful, and fun - is he ready for the commitment and responsibilities of marriage? - very doubtful and he admits he is not ready. Deanna is the same age or thereabouts. She is a bartender which actually fits well with his profession. She is fairly mature and thinks she is ready to settle down and raise a family (they are not on the same trajectory). She is bossy, strong willed and focused on her goals. He is easy going, rather flaky, and all over the place. Inotherwords, they are opposites. While opposites attract and his easy-going ways probably seem appealing to her, I just don't thing they would be compatible in the long run. Of course, this is just my opinion.

Re: Jesse - Bachelorette 4 Jesse just doesn't do anything for me! Not one iota. Having said that, he strikes me as a nice person who is rather ambitious in his career goals. And, what 25-year old starts a non-profit organization to help kids? I don't think he's scattered or flakey or even care-free. He's just making things happen on his his own ground and he seems to be doing pretty well at it. Still, he's not someone I'm remotely attracted to. In fact, I think there are guys that were let go the very first night I'd rather have learned more about than Jesse (in particular, the teacher from Florida).
