| Re: Jesse - Bachelorette 4 Here is my 2 cents, for what it is worth. I think Megan was a non-issue. The woman was married for goodness sake. How serious of a relationship can anyone be in while one of the "so-called" couple is married? I believe Jesse is a sponsor for Zero and has to wear their items, just like he has to drink Smartwater. I believe these two are making a conscience effort to put their past relationships behind them. |

| Re: Jesse - Bachelorette 4 Doesn't everyone already know Jesse's motives for doing the show? He went on for his sponsors/exposure, and to have fun. He has said numerous times that he thought he was the last person in the world to ever fall in love on a tv show, he thought it was a joke. He told DeAnna that on the theatre date, and I think he told her a lot more about his personal life issues that we didn't see on camera. (Someone, I think it was Fred, commented in an interview that Jesse got back really late that night, and we know they weren't making out. I think they talked a lot.) |

| Re: Jesse - Bachelorette 4 Personally I think Ron just wants to extend his 15 minutes of fame and figures he has all the answers. Not like we didn't see that side of Ron during the show, right?? ![]() |

Personally I give no credence to Ron's opinion of anyone on the show after the way he bashed Jeremy during and after the show. He wasn't in the show that long, he went home even before Jesse and Deanna had their first one on one date which is when Jesse started developing his crush for Deanna. Ron wasn't a witness to whatever feelings were developing then between Jesse and De.

He left before they really started to gravitate toward each other, so that can explain some of it, but I also think he's feeling the same thing that much of the audience did: their gravitation seemed to happen awfully quickly and Deanna, at least, has been awfully loud in her protestations that it's great, since -- Ohhh, Honeeeeeeee! -- even though she seemed awfully skeptical of those pink shoelaces early on. So does that mean she really really changed her view and she and Jesse really did fall in love with each other, or have the circumstances and what they might stand to gain from all of this encouraged them to believe that they're really in deep love when they're actually just wanting to be -- as can easily happen? They wouldn't be unusual if that really is the case. But it could be either, at this point, seems to me. Ron doesn't know, and neither do we. Jesse and DeAnna may not know either, at this point, though they'll find out down the line. I think this is the most clear and articulate thing I've ever seen from Ron, though -- "compromise their happiness for ...a statement they made on tv that they don't wholeheartedly believe." Well, we've seen that the Bachelor shows are set up to get people to do exactly this, season after season, so it's not out of the question here, certainly. Only Brad refused to fall into this trap, really. For right now, Jesse and DeAnna look like they're having fun. I hope they're enjoying each other much more than they're enjoying victory and celebrity, but I don't know that we could ever tell by looking which it is.
