Didn't care for him at all when he stepped out of the limo, but he sure did grow on me.

| Re: Jesse - Bachelorette 4 Scrap the long stringy hair and I think the guy looks like Chris Harrison. Maybe the slipped in his younger brother. How funny would that be?

| Re: Jesse - Bachelorette 4 He seemed to answer this question quite well. I already really liked Jesse but like him even more after what he said last night about wanting to be a good father and be there for his kids. The only thing that would concern me is he seemed to be saying that he wants to be a stay at home dad (he used that phrase exactly) and let D be the one to go to work. I do really like him though.

| Re: Jesse - Bachelorette 4 He's a nice guy. I don't care for his look much but he really is a sweet man. I would have loved to earn the money and let my husband be the stay at home dad! Quote:

I don't recall him every saying he'd want DeAnna to be the one and go out to work while he stayed home. In his defence I think what he meant by being a "stay at home dad" was to be a dad that stays on the homefront, as in, at a job that allows him to come home every night his wife and children as opposed to travelling and being on the road for days and weeks on end and never getting to spend any time at home with his family. At least that's what I gathered from his comments anyway. But for that matter, I wouldn't see anything wrong with him being an actual stay at home dad who doesn't work outside of the home if that's what he wants. Women are stay at home moms so there's nothing wrong with a man being a stay at home dad, or house husband while the wife goes out and brings in the dough if that's the choice a couple agrees on. Many men are doing it these days. I say all power to them.

I agree, I took what he said to mean he doesn't plan on being a snowboarder forever and wants a career that will allow him to be at home for his family more than his Dad was. My next door neighbors, when she was finishing college and getting her masters degree, he worked, she didn't. Now she works and he doesn't. They don't have kids yet either. But he is working on a lot of improvements on the house and seems to be doing a lot of the work himself. It works for them.
