I am so happy for Deanna and Jesse. All I could think last night was that love is a beautiful thing. I cried during the finale and much of the ATFR. What a romantic proposal from the kid in pink shoe laces! I loved how they used the Soulmate song at the end. How appropriate that turned out to be! Best wishes Jesse and Deanna! I hope we get to see your wedding, but whatever happens with that, thanks for sharing the beginning of your amazing journey with us.

Finally, a place for D and Jesse lovers. So excited about the outcome. I wasn't a fan of Jesse's in the beginning but he so grew on me. I started to love him during his HTD and who can resist his mom and dad. So loving. I thought it was so cute when he carried D down the hill on his back. Maybe a metaphor for carrying her in life when she needs it. Jesse is like a breathe of fresh air. Just being himself from the get go and being up front w/D.

Loved it last night when he was going in to pick out a ring and had to stop and take a few deep breaths. He was being so vulnerable and again, being himself.

I think was it very telling is during the proposal, D said "Jesse gets me". That is huge. I waited a long time to get married and found a man "who gets me". I love that so much about him. He just lets me, be me. It's such a safe place to be and I think that is how D will feel w/Jesse. It just all makes me smile.

I wish D & Jesse all the best.

There must be something about the mountain men of Colorado. First Ryan and now Jesse. So rad!

I have liked Jesse since pretty much the very first show. I always thought that he seemed nice & honest, and he was always himself. And it seemed real to me, he didn't seem to be acting at all, especially when he met her family.. he was a nervous wreck! And when he was picking out the ring, he really did look like he had stomach knots.

I hope that they are happy together, they sure looked happy when & after he proposed.

jesse is a coach from the snowboarding camp that i go to in the summers, so i and many other campers have been following him in this show and we were all so surprised when he won! whaattt. i just hope deanna doesn't make him stop snowboarding, cause its so much fun. i didn't like how everyone judged him on being a preshred though, i mean some on enough with silly stereotypes of snowboarders.
actually jesse is the only reason i watched the show this season, as i really dislike reality tv in general. i did like watching this though, and i especially loved jesse's outfits and "pink shoelaces". and how he repped a shirt from my camp in one of the episodes. yeahh jesse!

I always liked that Jesse stood out as his own person, not some carbon copy wannabe guy, like a few of the others who go on those shows. I think that is what got him so far and the final one. He is his own man, and that is a big tribute to his parents as well. Who I also liked of what they showed of them on the show. A lot of love between his parents and him and that is something a girl looks for too. I like the "quirky" guys who can make me laugh, those are the ones you can happily grow old with.

First post this season, but I was thrilled with the finale last night... I knew Fleiss was having us walk down the Jason path. Jason is a great guy, but I just felt the sparks DeAnna had with Jesse, and was increasingly convinced that she should pick him and follow her heart (Jason was clearly the "head" choice). What a thrill. Reminds me of the Trista/Ryan finale. This is why we keep watching this show EVERY season EVERY episode. Sometimes it kicks us in the gut and sometimes it is 100% a great feeling to watch soulmates find each other! Go Jesse and DeAnna!

I had blubbered during their Natasha date, as well - that song is sooo moving and proved fortuitous!

I was so moved when Jesse was crying BEFORE the final Rose Ceremony at the thought of De not choosing him and losing her. And he also said the most lovely thing in VO - that De is the only person who ever looked through his "crazy" exterior to the real him - THAT really touched me and says a lot about the true depth of DeAnna.

Yay! I am so happy for them!

I've been a fan of Jesse's for a long time, but after his One on One date to the concert, I was even more into him. And the thought of him and DeAnna together. I loved how he was always himself and how he would put himself out there and if he wasn't right for DeAnna by being himself that was fine with him he wouldn't compromise who he was. I loved watching the two of them together.

I could tell how much in love they were from the home town date on. Watching his nerves was so endearing. I have this feeling they were meant to be together and without this show they would have never met. Honestly, if they did meet DeAnna would probably not have dated him. She grew so much over this show and I have this feeling they will be together forever.

After the concert date, I got a phone call from a good friend of mine from high school and she wanted to know if I watched the Bachelorette. Of course I do and I was shocked to hear what she had to say next. Jesse went to my high school, in Amherst Ohio and was a freshmen when I was a senior. I went straight to my yearbook and there he was! He looked much more familiar with his short hair from high school. Then my friend went on to tell me that our other friend dated him for a short time in high school. No way! Now I know why his name sounded familiar as well. This happened after I had graduated and went to college, so I never hung out with him, but I remember when he dated my friend. I'm back in Amherst visiting my friends and family this week and I just got done visiting with my friend who dated him. They still text and message on MySpace (until he took his page down)and she is so excited for him. She said as she watched the show, she could see him falling for her. It definitely was not something she thought he would do (go on the show), but she definitely saw the Jesse she knows throughout the whole show and definitely thinks they will be together for ever! She is excited for him to come back to Amherst with DeAnna to congratulate them both!

I believe that Jesse is who he is. I think he is down to earth and who we saw on tv is who Jessie is. I just didn't see the spark between them until the very end. And that may have been out of relief of finally being able to see each other after keeping things so quiet.

He genuinely seems to have fallen in love with Deanna. But I believe she will be wearing the pants in the family. I don't expect that they will start a family as soon as Deanna had said she wanted; 3 kids in the next 4 years. Jesse isn't even sure about his career direction and where they will even live. But I believe Jesse knows how lucky he is to have Deanna's heart.

On one hand, I was surprised that Deanna chose Jesse. On the other hand, it fit perfectly with the show and how they love to have a "shocker" type of ending. I think that Jesse is his own person. What you see is what you get. I don't have anything aganst him.

I guess that because Deanna went into the show looking for someone totally different than Jesse, and then changed her mind as it went one, I am a bit concerned. It's fine to date someone who is not what you expected. But to marry that person and plan for a quick family on a reality show is quite another.

I agree with another poster who said that if they were to see each other and meet they would not have clicked. Jesse was not what Deanna was looking for and Jesse thought he wouldn't have a chance with someone with so much to offer as Deanna. It's amazing what being in a competition for love, away from regular life, staged romantic set-ups, staying and playing in wonderful vacation spots can do to spark a flame and light a fire.

I'm not sure if Deanna's choice would be the one that her family is the most happiest with. But she is obviously smitten and I know they will be supportive no matter what. Hopefully, Jesse will keep his promise and keep Deanna close to her family with visits.

I think that Deanna may also change her plans to have a big family very quickly. She chose Jesse and decided she didn't want the stability, family and settling down opportunities that Jeremy and Jason offered. I think she still needs to have some adventures with Jesse for a few years before that all happens. But then, what do I know?

I hate to say it but at 26, being all "rad" and giving "noogies" or whatever as his "thing", Jesse will have to do some growing up and make changes for Deanna. Maybe that's what Jesse needed though.

I wish them the best of Happiness. But I can't say that I understand Deanna's decision that well.

Jesse appeared to be totally smitten with Deanna at the end, and I guess that's all that counts. He is a very luck many to have met and "won" Deanna.

I wish them the best.

Jesse was one of my favorites from the beginning but then I appreciate real men, not the corporate 'yes men' who say what you want to hear. I LOVE that she picked him and they are so different, what an interesting life that will make.

Congrats to the couple, can't wait to hear more from them.
