I don't have a whole lot of respect for Jason's decision to go on the show.
Divorced parents shouldn't have to remain single until their children turn 18, but I don't think this show is the right way to go about finding a partner if you have a child. JMO.

Jesse may have admitted he wasn't ready for a serious relationship as we heard during the HT date, BUT...if you meet the RIGHT person, it CAN happen. Things can change fast if you meet the right person.

There are some who have called Jesse OCD based on the labels of his cupboards in his cabin.

Did he ever say he has OCD? I have read that he owns cabin rentals in the area. Often rentals will have cupboards labeled for the guests - so that theory does not wash for me - unless he said it himself. If so, big deal! Deanna or whoever in the future will have a neat hubby which could be a good thing!

Wow, I wonder if all of the bachelors realized how they would get picked apart on this process.

I sure wish Jesse all the happiness in the world. He has accomplished so much at a young age.

Great job, Tawneej. I loved your post! I’ve been thinking about it and I just want to add that I saw a romantic spark starting to develop on their one-on-one date. So much has been said about some things that were said on that date and things that occurred later in that episode that I think some of their connection was overlooked.

For instance, when Jesse won the singing competition and came over to give Deanna a hug, she gave him a shy look and did a little body twist with her hands in her pockets. To me that said that she was interested in him but had not been sure of his reaction to her until she heard his song. She has said over and over that he insisted they be friends first. His song was possibly the first time we are shown him expressing a romantic interest.

Their interaction also struck me as being very authentic. When she asked him to sing his song at the Wiltern, he said “you are horrible.” He said something similar on the HTD.

When they were sitting at the table I thought this part of what he said was really significant: “I’m not that guy to open up, but I’m trying you know.” Deanna says, “that’s all I ask, that’s all I ask.” Jesse: “Fer sure, I want you to know that I am into you, and when I came here, I was like, I’m the last guy to fall in love, come on TV and fall in love, what, are you kidding me? But it’s real, it’s as real as real can be.” (Notes: Deanna beamed at him when he used the love word, and he admitted he hadn’t expected to fall in love on the show.)

Deanna: “I can’t tell you enough, you’ve made an impression, I am not typically attracted to someone like you, you know, I’m just not. We talked at the first rose ceremony and I was like, yup, he’s a cool dude, and because when you sat down and talked with me, you were so real and as huge as that night was, that’s exactly what I needed.” (Note: Deanna said she wasn’t typically attracted, not that she wasn’t attracted and the real theme has been repeated over and over.)

Deanna summed up the evening with these words: “The night was absolutely beautiful, it couldn’t be more perfect, I can see an amazing future with Jesse, because I see a life that is full of love, excitement, new experiences. When I’m around Jesse, I feel like I am the only woman in the world.” That sounds like the beginning of a love story to me!

BTW, I loved it when he winked at her when Natasha sang the words, “Mr. Lovable.”

As far as the FRC goes, I think that Jesse's words when he saw the sign at the Wiltern are appropriate, "No one is ever going to believe this!"

I don't consider labelling shelves in cupboards OCD. I have, in the past, labelled the shelves in my clothing cupboard because I have a lot of black clothes and I [a] didn't want to spend too much time pulling stuff out and putting it back when I was looking for something specific, or [b] spend too much time remembering where things were supposed to go (you know, sweaters all together, long sleeved t-shirts together, short sleeved t-shirts together) and I am not remotely OCD (you should see the rest of my house ).

To me, Jesse comes across as the most real guy on this show! I just don't think they could edit him to be THAT real! Unconventional, sure, but he's real. It's funny - if he did come on the show just for exposure, actually did fall in love - I can only say, "Be careful what you wish for".

I have been reading posts and this thread is like a refuge! I am glad to be here. I love Jesse. He seems so real and he has a humbleness that is very endearing. When he looks at DeAnna and tells her he can't believe he's here with her or hugs her and says how much he misses her my heart just melts. He was such a gentleman waiting until the right moment to kiss her, and always being near her and being her friend until then. Then getting to the kissing and hugs and bikini shoulder kisses... woohoo! I absolutely see a ton of chemistry there. It makes me understand why other guys like Twilley said in an interview that she had chemistry with Jesse like she did with Graham, and he didn't see any with her and Jason. I was starting to feel like I was crazy for being on that side of the train all along! My mom and my dh have been on the Jesse bandwagon since Day 1 too, so at least I'm not alone in that when we watch.

I totally understand why he has been hesitant with her. It's like he's so afraid of falling in love when other guys are still there, he's scared of being badly hurt if he opens up all the way. But when their feelings had a chance to grow, he went for it. He is so honest about being scared yet willing to give her absolutely everything. There is just something about his vulnerability that just gets me in the heart. Maybe it's because I, too, have an Aries husband who has a lot of the same qualities Jesse seems to have and is the sweetest, kindest, most romantic love of my life! (Awwww).

This is by far one of the best love stories I've ever seen on a Bachelor or Bachelorette show. I am not looking forward to watching the finale because regardless as to who wins, I want to see more DeAnna/Jesse time, more episodes and more dates! I don't usually watch episodes over again, but I've been watching the last few online and have forwarded to the Jesse dates, and every time I see them interact I can't help but smile! I notice a new layer to their connection every time.

I was thinking about what DeAnna said about Jeremy and Jesse being the ones by her side all the time, and when you look back on even what little was shown and edited it's true! Even on the ABC site, another one I noticed was the picture of them all in the pool playing chicken. DeAnna was on Jesse's shoulders. It's like he was just waiting for all of the rest to pass, and he has been the dependable one by her side all along. Sometimes love finds you where you're not expecting it.

I am starting to sound obsessed now so I better stop, lol.
