Yes, Bugs, I have the same misgivings. Jeremy is a kind soul, and Fleiss can't be trusted. But, Bugs, I thought Jeremy was MY tvboyfriend.

Re: Jeremy - Bachelorette 4

At first I was a little iffy about Jeremy... i thought he was a little too perfect and that he was trying too hard to please DeAnna. But now I am a complete fan. I think I'm going to cry if/when she lets him go... He's such a good guy.

He's a lovely guy and so darn good looking. I like the new screencap of Jeremy on the porch with DeAnna, it's a nice view! LOL!

For the Jeremy fans (I love him and several of the guys) I've made a tribute video to him. Just search for my username - K9Mom - at youtube. It's titled "Freckles". ENJOY!

That was great! He really is so sweet besides the obvious great looks, intelligence, gentlemanly behavior, etc.

Re: Jeremy - Bachelorette 4

This will be a very long post and will offer no new revelations; it is just my opportunity to share my reflections. IMHO. Thanks for letting me share.

I tend to believe in hope when all hope is gone and reality is biting my nose.

Thanks to flybylove, Jeremy became my F1 choice before pictures were posted and after I said I’d pick no favorites. Seeing the edited Jeremy-DeAnna interactions only have reinforced Jeremy’s F1 status, even with some other great guys there too.

Jeremy and fly have said that there are certain things Jeremy usually doesn’t talk about, including not letting many others know his grandfather died the night before the last test date for the bar exam.

Yet, on his 1st group date within days of meeting DeAnna, in a baseball dugout with at least 1 camera probably less than 10ft away, Jeremy opened up about his parent’s deaths. Now in tomorrow’s show Jeremy is going to share part of his mother’s journal. He has to really be emotionally invested to offer that kind of intimacy with DeAnna.

I think any intensity from Jeremy’s brothers was only because of him being 1 of 4 camera romances. DeAnna hasn’t been shown to be anything but attracted and being seriously interested in Jeremy.

Imho, I believe DeAnna and Jeremy could have had the best chance to making it outside this TV show.

[mod edit]

I don’t believe this scenario, so please no tomatoes or flames…
What if after the show fly posts a “gotcha!” Maybe this has been some sort of public relations experiment or a study for a doctoral thesis, or was for an ego trip or new challenge Jeremy didn’t take seriously. Maybe all the show dialogue is scripted and no one developed genuine feelings. If this is true, please somebody pm me so I can close my bachelor box for good.

I wish TPTB would keep participants off the Tell Alls until after their departure shows air. I hope TPTB don’t skimp on Jeremy’s time on the show. Thankfully, TPTB showed some of Jeremy’s fun side, hopefully, DeAnna saw even more. Maybe if there are more Bachelor shows, I can be more objective and watch only for entertainment and sleuthing (didn’t work for me this time), and make more FORT friends. Maybe its time to go back to lurking.

I have 2 personal notes to add so please forgive me if inappropriate. The TV or fly’s version of Jeremy’s willingness to risk opening/sharing himself (especially in a rush romance format) has reinforced for me that when my son openly shares even one word of the pain my ex caused us, I’m going to treasure the girl he was willing to risk being vulnerable with. When it happens I hope it won’t be on TV so the chances of his heartbreak don’t skyrocket.

Lastly, after my brother’s death last fall and my son off on a study abroad, it was discovering the sleuthing community of FORT near the end of B11, and the outrage and snarkiness of posters after DeAnna’s heartbreak that kept me crying, laughing and out of a looney bin. Thanks.

Re: Jeremy - Bachelorette 4

my#1distraction, I think you wrote a great post. I have two sons, and agree with you that being able to open up about a very painful time in your life shows a very strong connection.

Jeremy is a class act in my opinion. He may or may not be with DeAnna, but he will make someone very happy someday.

His parents, I am sure, are looking down upon him with pride at the fine young man he has become.

Please don't go back to lurking. I also have hope in somehow there is a miracle. It's hard to have a favorite and then find out the "spoilers" on them. Each and every Bachelor and Bachelorette that been on has let us be a part of their "grand adventure" in love. We laugh and cry along with them. And sometimes a special one comes along like Jeremy, who make you want to believe that the impossible can be possible. I've had favorites who did not end up as the F1 and smile when news comes out on how their lives are. Whether or not Jeremy ends up as DeAnna's F1, I believe that his Mom and Dad are smiling down from above and are very proud of him.

That was a lovely post!

Sorry to hear about your brother, and I pray your son finds the woman who is "perfect for him".
