Jesse Csincsak and DeAnna Pappas's Jacket - eBay (item 270262399547 end time Aug-11-08 18:18:33 PDT)

I am familiar with eBay, as I am sure others here are, too, and the new capitalized comment made about serious bidders only and the unusual payment terms coming from a new seller is an indication that the Dodger's Baseball sale did not go through as planned.

I am not sure that it is only serious bidders that are bidding on the stuff DeAnna and Jesse are putting up.

I remember in past seasons, when the women put dresses up on ebay, I would read posts about posters bidding on the dresses.

I think any smart person would capitalize on their new found fame to put things on ebay.

I think it is up to the individual bidder to figure out if an item is worth the money they want to bid on it.

Umm ... the serious bidders comment means, don't bid and think that you are not required to pay.

Thanks for your clarification. (I did not think anyone who bids would think they did not have to pay.)

Unfortunately, it happens more than you might think.

eBay can be an unhappy experience for the uninformed, but there is a large community of seasoned sellers (and buyers, too) that will gladly share their knowledge and experience if asked at the eBay forums.

For example, I would guess that the person managing the DeAnna/Jesse auctions is unaware that eBay offers a pre-screening option where a bidder must be cleared before allowed to bid, something nearly always seen used with celebrity or high ticket auctions.

Why would you guess that they do not know that?

Umm ... well, I don't see any restrictions preventing just anyone from placing a bid, do you?

Re: Bachelorette 4 Media thread

There is an interview with Jeremy on realitysteve. It is about an hour and a half long, but well worth the time! It sounds like he took a lot out of the Bachelorette experience... aside from the girl... and gave some interesting insight to things that were not shown (namely his fun side!) and other fun little tidbits.

Thanks for the heads up, I will go and check out what Jeremy had to say.

I am so happy that Jeremy is in a relationship with Celest (I know that is not her name but can't think of it right now). She is the one trying for Matt and lost to Shayne.

Jeremy is not dating Chelsea ~ they are just friends and she supports him as the next bachelor.
