Why is that his autographed baseball in top shaped, that is from the early 1920's since it has quotation marks around "Babe" which is his nickname, and if you know the history of the game and the player, you would know that he stopped doing that in the mid-20's is going for on E-Bay $6,195.00 and is also a collectors item.

And now we have DeAnna's baseball which she threw at a Dodgers Game recently and is signed by both Jesse and DeAnna (whom are not professional baseball players, are not in the baseball hall of fame) have their baseball ending bid for $7,300.00 which "was" bought buy someone that has never had an account on E-Bay. Plus before it came to end bid, a few day prior the website/account/item had to come down for some odd reason this was July 20th or 21st and then came back up July 24th, which is when the end bidder made his account.

FYI, E-bay, government secret service, baseball major league have noticed this as well and are looking to investigate....makes you wonder on things....
The auction came down for a few days so they could get and post the letter stating that the item had been donated and all funds would go to JSAK. This would be important for tax purposes for all concerned -- buyer, seller, non-profit.

As for the bidder, who knows? I'm not certain if you're implying that the sellers have something to do with the buyer or what. New bidders create accounts every day. Whether the winning bidder is legit or not likely has nothing to do with who is selling the item. That's ultimately between the buyer and the seller. If a buyer is willing to pay $7,300 for the item, why shouldn't they, and what business is it of ours?

As for the selling price vs. Babe Ruth's ball, again I DON'T KNOW. But neither do you, and to imply that there is something underhanded going on is not only ridiculous it's also malicious and irresponsible. I know that I have -- and would -- bid more for an item than it was actually worth if the funds were going toward a non-profit organization I believed in. It happens all the time at all sorts of charitable auctions. It's not an unusual occurrence. I'm not saying this is the case here, because we simply don't know all the circumstances. But that's the point -- neither you nor I know nor anyone other than the bidder knows his/her rationale.

The point of your post is not exactly clear, but you do seem to have some axe to grind. I'm sorry that seeing Jesse and DeAnna together upsets you so much.

Amberish, why don't you just call zero and place an order and see what is available? as you know I emaile them and they said to just call and place order, yes maybe its a poorlyrun co. but that is not so unusual and its a very small player in a niche market, so that makes sense.

as for jsak your citing that he is no longer in charge and only a client means pretty much nothing to me, you just seem hell bent on finding something and though there are so strange things just doesn't seem like any "smoking gun" to me JMO

it came down off ebay because they required a letter from the non profit acknowledging the receipt of the money. A technicality that was resolved and a copy of the letter was also listed on the site with the photo!

There are all kinds of people who spend outragious amounts of money for silly things in an auction...the fact is they maybe get a worthless ball but they also get a large tax deduction as well.

Imagine that...a realistic and rational answer. No speculation needed.

Unfortunately, at this point Jesse could donate an organ and people would find something wrong with it. Truly, truly sad.

I have been one of those buyers who paid ridicuous amount for my favorite charities. When I find a good cause I decide how much I will spend and that is where the bid will go to..unless someone bids higher and evne then I'm glad which I have been someone to do to run up the bid!!!

Who knows maybe it is an older snowboarder with a nest egg that did not know till they saw the show that it even existed..

Re: Bachelorette 4 Media thread

Another thing that should be considered: successfully selling something on Ebay has a lot to do with exposure and buyers realizing what is for sale. Jesse and Deanna posted on their website that they were auctioning the ball, giving that item a lot of exposure. I'm not sure how many people randomly search Ebay for a Babe Ruth autographed ball. There could be a very, very simple explanation that has nothing to do with fraud.

What is he thinking...

Television | "Bachelorette" contestant Jason Mesnick: The nice guy who didn't finish last | Seattle Times Newspaper

even Jason said this.."And what are the real chances of 1 in 25 actually happening? It wasn't me. But it obviously happened, and I can say one thing for sure, that both those guys — and I talked to DeAnna and Jesse this past week, and they are both crazy-happy, so the ritual worked for those two."

Jason is free to do interviews just as Jesse ans DeAnna or any of the other participants for that matter. I think it goes with being on the show, Jeremy and Graham have done some as well.
Jason is happy for DeAnna and Jesse and has never uttered one negative word about either of them. To me that shows how classy he is IRL.

Yeah, and I have a feeling that the simple explanation would be a young, perhaps even underage, fan becoming overexcited about the bidding process.

DeAnna and Jesse are now auctioning off Jesse's $300 full retail Artful Dodger "Chickster" Blazer in their newest auction. (I can only imagine DeAnna didn't care for it much ):

Jesse Csincsak and DeAnna Pappas's Jacket - eBay (item 270262399547 end time Aug-11-08 18:18:33 PDT)

I am familiar with eBay, as I am sure others here are, too, and the new capitalized comment made about serious bidders only and the unusual payment terms coming from a new seller is an indication that the Dodger's Baseball sale did not go through as planned.
