I knew it was in the description and I also noted that Jason is with them two separate times, I just wondered why we didn't get to see any clip of Jesse's date (the one w/o Jason there).

I don't know why. They didn't show much of Jason's. It looks like her dad is going to give it to him good, but I think that Jason will not mind that her dad gives him the grilling.

Jenni said she didn't want to ask him the hard questions and he begged her to. Jenni called him 'just beautiful' afterward. Why? I think due to the content of his heart.

so of course they are going to say Jesse, they may have been told to say that also.

This is an interesting point. More than once this season the edit showed the guys as a group discussing the significance of Jason having a son and how it would affect his chances with DeAnna. Now that issue is rearing its head again with Jeremy's teleconference comments. How much of this is what the bachelors really think and how much of it is producer "encouraged" I do not know. I will say that it would make for a pretty sweet tv moment to start playing up the "single-dad" issue again now, and then have DeAnna present Jason with a second rose for Ty at the FRC to show that she is completely accepting and even embraces everything that choosing him would entail.

"The Bachelor" franchise has been on a downward slope for several years now, and there were some reports that ABC was about to drop it.

But last winter's writers' strike convinced the network to give the reality show one more try - this time with the straight-talking DeAnna, who was rejected at the finale of last season's "Bachelor."

The franchise hit its pinnacle five years ago when more than 30 million people tuned in to watch Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter get married on live TV.

As I recall, De is holding hands with Jesse while sitting on the couch, and Jason looked like he was putting his arm behind her or trying to do that.
