I agree with yours and atems post - Jesse looked uncomfortable, which makes me think that maybe the previous day didn't go so well for him but Jason looks really quite comfortable under the circumstances. I also noticed that he got a really warm greeting from her family, we see her sister giving him a big hug.... wish we could have saw them greet Jesse... hmmm

Well, from the episode description you know that DeAnna's sister is going to be Pro-Jason! He and her have a talk and he tells her that he truly loves DeAnna. I bet when Dad tries the 'I'm going to grill you till you are burnt' that Jason will smile and say, 'I think you should, because I think DeAnna is worth the grilling from her Dad!'

Judging from the clothes, I thought perhaps that Jason had already met the family prior to the Jesse meet the family. I have no idea why they would have brought Jason back unless Jesse was so uncomfortable that De hoped Jason would help relax him. Very strange.

I think the guys opinions on who Dee chooses mean nothing, remember last season how the girls didnt see it happening with Shayne but that worked?

Also Jesse was more one of the guys and the they probably think 'Jason has a kid, big problem possibly'

so of course they are going to say Jesse, they may have been told to say that also.

Nope. Each meet the family alone. DeAnna's dad has tells her concerns he has for both and DeAnna decides to bring them a 'surprise' get together with the WHOLE family. Not just her Dad and brother and sister.

I think it's really strange that we don't see any clips of Jesse's date with DeAnna's family other than the one that Jason shows up at.

I just watched a video on tv.com of almost 2 minutes of a preview of when both guys are there. In a PI Deanna says that the day before they both had separate dates to meet the family but they both arrived only minutes apart in the preview that we see. It seems like it was planned for the family to observe her with both at the same time. When you watch it, it seems so obvious that she wants to be with Jason IMO

It's in the episode description. He visits the family (and it doesn't go too well).

In the commercial for the next epi, we see DeAnna hugging Jason good-bye from his first meeting. He is wearing a something long sleeved and black. That hug tells me SO much too.
