I read that article but didn't reach the same conclusion. No matter what she was saying, she used the proper tense to say it.

And again that phrase that is almost present in every interview (at least this one AND the KATU interview both released today) - "everything happens for a reason". She said this to Jason when he told her he was falling in love with her at the FD dinner - and he repeated it back to her. I can't escape the feeling that this has some special meaning known only to the two of them and a way for her to say "crypticly" what she can't say openly.

Just watched the tv.com video and have a few observations, sorry if it's been discussed but this board is just flying the last couple of days and I can't keep up with all the threads.

when the 3 of them sat on the couch, Jesse grabbed her hand but she pulled hers out, and then when she was patting the guys on their thighs, she was much more intimate with Jason and kinda rubbed his thigh when she was talking about being with the guys that she liked a whole lot.

Jesse seemed to be holding onto De's hand for security but Jason was being more social and Deanna seemed to be reaching out to him as she was uncomfortable.

Deanna said on one of her interviews that we will see a love story unfold, and I am thinking if she chooses Jesse, good luck in doing that in two hours.

I didn't even notice that really. What I saw that even before Jason was there, Jesse was acting like he didn't want to be there. Then he hears the doorbell and he starts moaning 'Not one of your surprises again' and in the PI he seems defensive and says that he felt he was put into a competition. Now, Jason wasn't happy to see Jesse there either, but he takes an open hearted approach and doesn't treat it like a punishment. He tries to be positive.

Well I guess no matter who she chose she thinks it is a love story. Whether that be the story of DeAnna and Jason or the story of DeAnna and Jesse. She's in love and it's her story.

That is present tense about Jason. The quote about Jesse was also present tense..."Jesse's that crazy, snowboarding, long-haired kid on night one. I still think Jason - she calls Jesse a kid!

She also said in one of her interviews that Jesse makes her laugh on the inside and the outside. He told her once that he just wants to be sure she's happy/smiling on the inside and the outside.

I think because of all of the g/f hoopla (none of us know the real story), people are not giving this guy a chance. He had a great HTD and his family is so sweet and he does seem to be genuinely falling for her. I think De could have easily picked him. I think because my favorite is gone, its easier to see the connection she has with both of the F2 - they both seem like great guys and we all said in the beginning, we just want De to be happy!!

BTW In the parts where she is referring to Jason and herself, she does speak in past tense.

ATEM - great observation - there was just a sec of sarcasm between the guys - but I did notice that when they were all sitting down - Jesse was looking done all the time and Jason was commenting on having a party and looked like he was trying to make the best of things. Jesse had a bit of attitude going on thru out that whole scene for sure - ya know those rolling eyes type of attitude uugh

Bravo! It gets even harder when you thow in the 8 or minutes of recaps at the beginning, Jeremy's return, LCD with Jason and the Wipeout promos... it's very hard to swallow.
