I think the 2nd show will have the 2 families meeting all together for a party! The ATFR show is more of a recap with DeAnna and her chosen one (it better be Jason).

sooo, maybe De doesn't accept a proposal until the after show, or maybe Jason doesn't propose until then, and De and Jason wanted it to be closed with only the fim crew and CH of course, just like it would have been if the proposal/acceptance took place at the FRC.

Could be - OR maybe the engagement is very Greek and more formal, almost a wedding. If Deanna decided to move to Seattle with Jason, they may have wanted to make some sort of show that they were commited to each other for the sake of Ty. It's not so simple moving in with a guy when there is a child involved - they have to be pretty sure (nobody gets a guarantee though) before letting De get involved in Ty's life.

It's funny - the time slot at ABC has been blank for the longest time - and NOW look at what they have done ROFL - WHEW!!! this will certainly get alot of attention over the next week.

I'm usually pretty even keeled about things but I am honestly feeling giddy. I was told by someone a few weeks ago that DeAnna is happy and engaged to Jason (when all the rumours came out about a breakup). I think the engagement party ties into the "Big fat Greek family," comment that she made and how the engagement, for Greeks, is a significant event. So much so, that Fleiss is rolling out the red carpet to give her one on TV. Uhm, anybody remember how much air time Trista and Ryan got for every little step of their relationship up to the wedding?

I LOL about the dog named Ted. Hilarious!

What I find so interesting is the parallel between Trista/Ryan and DeAnna/Jason. Trista wanted a long engagement, Ryan didn't, and we all know who won out there. Jason had a long engagement in the past and, by all accounts, given how many kids she wants and by when, DeAnna's going to want a short engagement. I wonder who will win out on *that* one. It's really exciting to finally have another season where you can just feel something special is happening. Something *really* special as opposed to some of the fluff we've had.

From past info - Jason is a very romantic kind of guy - I can imagine that he would make a proposal nothing less than that - romantic and sooo special as all git out
